Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge - Dauphin

Came here for dinner with a group and there was only one server on site. The service was VERY slow... It took an hour for our food to come out and 30 minutes for drinks. Ordered a burger and it was not bad... It lacked flavour in my opinion. The fries were pretty good. All in all, the service was very slow and the food was just ok.

I cant believe that this place is still operating. The service both times I tried to go was atrocious. No cutlery was brought when our meals finally arrived and the cook forgot the hashbrowns to my meal as well as other items from my colleagues meals. My recommendation is not to eat here as it is very poor service and poor quality food

Could hear the cook yelling in the back and when my pregnant celiac wife ordered her food we could hear him say "oh I'll be sure to fill it with gluten then" and the server said "then I'll take the wrap!" Then he said " who cares she will be dead then" so we got up and left. Not to mention how gross the kitchen was when I walked in there to tell them were leaving.

They actually make a really good, seasoned, properly cooked steak here. And the servers are usually awesome!

I got food poisoning from their chicken wings yesterday. I ordered a Cesar salad and chicken wings and didn’t even finish either of them because I knew something was off. I woke up next morning throwing up and had to call in sick. I’m still very sick and I know 1000% it was their food, I didn’t eat anything else. I was in town for work as I travel quite a bit. This threw off my whole schedule. I tried to go to a place that I thought would have decent healthy food instead of McDonalds or Tim Hortons. To the owner of this restaurant - are you aware of the quality of your food being served? It’s one thing if it doesn’t taste good, but your food made me sick. I don’t need anything from you guys, not even an apology. Just do better on checking the quality of your food going forward and don’t make people sick!

Exceptional breakfast! Evening single item was cooked to perfection! It's a Smitty's, so you have a base level expectation, but today's breakfast blew it out of the water!

I am only rating the lounge as I have heard that the restaurant is overpriced and the food is not good.
The lounge staff was fantastic this weekend. Two wonderful young ladies!
Hockey game was on and it was a decent place for a drink.

Egg shells in my eggs not fully cooked still runny.Sausage and bacon was Not fully cooked. Very small portions for the price.Did not give any condiments. Presentation of food was horrible. They just slapped it together.Definitely do not recommend.What a waste of money.

Not sure where to start... the restaurant was filthy as were the bathrooms. Can't imagine what the kitchen must look like.
We ordered pizza and wings. Both were lukewarm at best. We sent our food back and walked out.
Will not be returning.
