Kelsey’s dining room isn’t a city fine restaurant: it is in the North, so standards are different, ok? They are professional, everything is nice , professional restaurant decor, booths, clean, well appointed dining room. The food was all very good, we found portions quite generous, and we are fussy and big eaters. We both had the French onion soup for a starter. It was very good. The broth had a touch of an unusual herb- I think perhaps sage? Or tarragon? Giving a slight hint...
I’ve eaten here dozens of times over the years, it’s one of my regular spots when working in Flin Flon. The Moosehead on tap is enough of a reason to keep coming back, especially after a long drive to town.
I had dinner here because on Monday evening it seemed to be the only place open.
