I was brought here by my partner as something local to check out on my first visit to flin flon. Cute cafe & chill space with local art & creative pieces for purchase and on display. They have an extensive menu that I would need to return to get a good feel of their drinks and snacks. I stuck with a chai latte - it was pretty good actually. Very creamy.Staff were friendly, slight wait but worth it.Free wifi and books to read.

Fantastic Coffee Joint! They had a very big spread of frozen/mixed coffee-inspired beverages, and a little spread of some decadents. I had the mocha, and would gladly return and pay same price. My only gruff was the lack of seating. A place like this could EASILY hold a venue with 3x the seating. I'm sure their location lends to their success, but as an out-of-towner, i was pretty sick of sitting in the van (6+ hours trip) and just wanted to sit in something that wasn't on the road for a minute. No choices. But, i'm sure they're doing their best with what they've got. We ordered 6 drinks, all came up in a reasonable time frame. The "orange tangerine" "real smoothie" was certainly real...perhaps too real, lol. My 7 year old didn't appreciate the depth added from the zest/skin flavor, haha. Little too earthy/bitter. Even after adding copious amounts of sugar to balance, we couldn't pull it back far enough to mask the skin/flesh flavor. So, IMO, some room for improvement there. But otherwise, terrific joint.

The ladies are always very friendly and their drinks are always delicious! They have everything from hot to cold drinks. So many options to choose from. You can buy coffee to brew at home, among other things as well as orange toad swag. They have a book shelf where you can trade a book for a book if you wish. They also have local artist items displayed for purchasing as well. They have tables to sit at and it is a clean place. There is also wheelchair accessible door buttons. I highly recommend the orange toad for your next caffeine craving.Parking: It is on main Street, which is a busy street filled with businesses so parking is sometimes hard to find.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to get into the store, they have buttons for the doors to open.

The Orange Toad is a wonderful little café and gift shop in downtown Flin Flon. The walls inside are decorated with local artists' photography and paintings, amongst other interesting knicknacks, that are all available for sale. They have a generous hot and cold beverage menu, with everything from lattes to London Fogs to Italian Sodas! Their baking selection is limited but rotates each day and it is worth trying everything.Long live the Toad!
Dietary restrictions: They have soy and oat milk.
