Eating here feels like showing up at your eccentric Greek uncle’s house for dinner and he’s thrilled you came hungry. Portions are just a suggestion, and you’ll definitely go home with leftovers. Don’t worry, he’ll hand you the takeout containers himself.
The menu is more of a conversation than a rulebook, if you’ve spent enough, a couple of free drinks might magically appear. The food? Absolutely fantastic. The décor? A wild mix of signs, Greek decor and personality that just adds to the charm.
It ended up being one of the most memorable meals I’ve had with my husband & kids. Laughter, great food, and stories we’ll never forget. A must-visit spot if you love good food and even better characters!

I only picked up food, didn't dine-in. Honestly, the place looked unkept, perhaps it's just run down on the inside and significant time/money is required for a MUCH needed upgrade. However, the food is pretty good. I had the gyro, which was good, not including the two whole and not at all sliced tomatoes in it. The fires are sub par at best, definitely need to upgrade, or at the very least season, the fries. The gravy did not make up for the lack of flavor. The man I chatted with in the phone, and whom prepared the food, is very kind. Can't say for sure if he is the owner or not.

I haven't been to gimli, alone Europa in many years. Glad they are still around and serving up great food and huge portions. Had a cheeseburger and fries. Burger was delicious and very filling on its own, loved the cheese they used! Then, the small fries was a big bag of crispy, fat cut, nicely seasoned fries that fed 3 people and there's still some leftover! The staff were friendly and service was fast. Thanks for a great meal!

Genuinely kind and caring family run restaurant. Delicious food and enormous portion sizes, true to tradition to this day. Reasonably priced and minutes from the beach. You haven’t had a burger until you’ve tried theirs! A must stop in Gimli.
