Took a day trip out to Gimli and went to the Interlake Brewing Co for lunch.
Ordered coffee and it came luke warm. Suggested that it be hotter and put it in the microwave and the server looked at me like I was asking her to do something she couldn’t comprehend. Finally got a new cup and it was only slightly warmer.
The worse part was my wife ordered the fish and chips with pan fried pickerel. It came and was not cooked properly. My wife asked for it to be cooked properly and the server took it back.
The three of us with food ate slowly and my wife’s meal did not arrive until we were finished. At the very least the server should not have charged us for my wife’s meal.
Didn’t happen and I reluctantly paid the bill.
Hopefully they can figure it out as we won’t be back.

Great little brewery! The beer was cold, refreshing and flavourful. Also tried their house Caesar and it was excellent - house made pickles and hot sauce, plus their beer, made for a delicious drink! The bartender was super personable.

Beer was good. I ordered Winter Sky. Wild Rice salad was good as well. However, my order was for a pickerel with the salad! There was some misunderstanding with the server who was a bit unfriendly and not very welcoming. No fish came with the salad, to think they were promoting their pickerel 8-ways pickerel week. Didn’t even bother to ask how was the salad. Very unpleasant experience for someone visiting a small town restaurant. Place was also a bit dark and stuffy. After eating, I visited next door restaurant KRIS’ fish and chips to get my pan fried pickerel fix. Restaurant staff needs to improve on customer service.
sad to say this was my first and last time here... very very expensive for the size of food portions.. a cesar salad with about 3 leaves of lettuce was 15.00 extras are $4 more... 2 tiny pieces of garlic and cheese bread is 10.. thats about $100 a loaf of bread.. alcohol is another killer.. even night clubs dont charge 15 a drink... i said something to my server and she says i just work here... and too be forced to tip 18% on top of it all is ridiculous... there was a group of us and everyone was floored at the prices and the little portions of food.. your in a small town
A little confusing around the ordering part ( different instructions from different peopke so did not get served for a bit) but food and beer was good.
Nice view from the roof.

I love to support local and try to make it at least once a week. Made sure to let family and friends know about it. Went on Saturday during their Anniversary. Gentleman was handing out glasses asked waitress about a glass was told it was only for family/friends. That was enough for me to stop me from going including finishing my drink and going else where for supper and a new sweatshirt. You have lost a valued customer.

Came here for a work dinner. Very simple and stylish interior. Great service, great beer. I had the fish tacos and a dill salad. Both were top notch! This place is definitely worth a visit when you're in Gimli.

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing. The fish itself was local pickerel, which was the one redeeming factor, but everything else fell short. The fries were clearly generic Sysco and had that bland, mass-produced taste. The tartar sauce was unusually sweet, with almost no horseradish flavor, and oddly had shredded carrots mixed in—more confusing than complimentary.
The atmosphere wasn’t much better. The bar top was sticky and honestly gross. When I sat down at the rooftop bar, a staff member came over and started sweeping directly around my chair—even though it was just a couple of leaves. The strange part was the rest of the rooftop was covered in leaves and debris, and right beside me there was a massive spider web.
At least the beer was good, rooftop patio has a view of the lake
Overall, not worth the price or the hype. A real letdown.

The view and atmosphere can't be beat. Standard pub fare food. A great place to unwind while enjoying a couple beers, which I understand are now brewed on site.

Great place, awesome food.
This is NOT a bar. It's a licenced family restaurant with lots of screaming kids around. Not for me at all. I will never return. Food was not good either.

Best burger week burger!! The pickled Saskatoons was amazing on the bison burger! Such a super cute place too. The wait for food was fairly long... But the staff are quite friendly. Had unique beer options!
