Down to earth service. Battered pickerel was amazing! Fries seemed home cut and very delicious. Place was packed to the walls, glad I phoned my take out prior.
Parking: It's a trendy street of restaurants and other shops. So on a Saturday afternoon when the weather is nice the parking is a tad limited, but not bad. Would recommend this joint in a heartbeat. PS: use debit, it helps him keep his costs down.

Haven’t been to Kris since before the fire. The food is terrific. The rebuild of the building is fantastic. I had Pickrell and coconut shrimp was huge serving. Both were very good. I even like the french fries which I often don’t like.

Excellent food and friendly service, definitely worth the wait! My one and only critique is that I wish they had let us know how long the wait was when we ordered. I believe that was just an oversight due to how busy it was. I can see why it was so busy, the food was great! Four of us ordered fish and chips and were all very impressed. It was a nice day to sit out on the patio and enjoy the lovely fall day. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in town.

Excellent food. Try the 3 piece battered pollock with fries. Enough for x2 people. Food came quickly, drinks were very cold, place was full with outdoor tables to eat outside. You must give it a try. You won't be disappointed!!!

went here fish and chips during lunch and overall it was pretty solid ? ordered the battered fish and chips and the fish tacos and both were super tasty. however, there were a couple of things missing from the order, like the tartar sauce and coleslaw which was a bit of a bummer it was really busy though and there was a long wait time, so i get that mistakes happen. but the service at the front could’ve been better, felt a little rushed and not super attentive. all in all, the food was great, but the experience could’ve been smoother

We had supper Kris's. The pickeral was cooked to perfection. Cheese burger was very tasty. All the food was spot on. Way to go Kris.
I ordered burger combo and fish and chips combo ,they told us if your sitting outback outside they will bring my order, so we did after a while and 10 people after us got served first I asked if we where forgotten and the girl said it might be the order waiting for pick up in the front , and sure enough it was ,so she gives us the bag that I'm dure and is cold by now so the fish was soggy from being in the container so long and the fries where also cold and burger also , if we didn't wait so long and wanted to wait longer 0I would have told them to make a new order for us but didn't, they could have offered us some cold ice cream to go with the cold food for the inconvenience but didn't. I'm sure it's good if it was fresh and hot.

September 25/24 Ordered single panfried & single battered pickerel with fries. Both of our fillets had small bones. The Y-bones were not removed. Also the fries were all dried out & appeared to be the last of the bag. Very disappointed as we were all the way from BC to have this lunch.

Cute little diner. Clean and very busy. The pickerel was very good and large amount and delicious fries. In addition their raspberry milkshake was excellent . The person at the counter inside took our order of 1 pickerel meal that included fries and a milkshake. They barely smiled. (None of the workers smiled). She asked us if we wanted our milkshake before or with the meal. We took it before. We waited 45 minutes for our meal. I did see a sign that they are hiring. I get that but all it would have took when we were ordering is if they told us that it would be over a 30 minute wait.
