Everytime me and my spouse go out of the city, we never miss Half Moon Drive In on our way for for a burger dinner! Tje fries serving is huge and the burgers aren't salty! expect for long lines but bo crazy wait time at all.

I enjoyed dining in to half moon drive in.. the atmosphere was amazing and the 50 style retro style was really Cool.
The food did take a long time to come out. The burger was amazing and decently priced. The fries however were bland and not that flavorful. The icecream was great and a small was so huge!! Will definitely be back.

The food is always insanely slow no matter how many people are here. I brought friends here from out of town today, waited 30 minutes for my food before going up to check what's going on and the kitchen lost my order... there wasn't even 5 people in line at any time. I have no idea why I continue to try and come here.

I am absolutely appalled by my experience at Half Moon Drive In. When I asked to add sour belts on top of my ice cream, the employee looked both me and my husband up and down and said, “Pride month is over.” At first, I was stunned and thought maybe it was some kind of bad joke but she followed it up with, “I won’t let you promote that ideology,” and flat-out refused to serve what I had asked for.
This was blatant discrimination, carried out right in front of us. To make matters worse, when I later raised the issue, the business offered no compensation, no apology, and no accountability whatsoever. They chose to sweep it under the rug instead of addressing such hateful, unprofessional behavior from their staff.
No customer should be treated this way ever. To be denied service and mocked for who I am is beyond unacceptable. This is not just “bad service”; this is discrimination, and it speaks volumes about the culture this establishment tolerates.
If you care about inclusivity, respect, or basic human decency, I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere.

I have been coming here for almost as far as I can remember. $35 for 2 of us and we get cold French fries which were sent back, then a barely warm hot dog. They now charge 20 cents for fried onions in place of raw and 20 cents for mayo instead of relish. How petty!! The staff that was on today need to learn work ethics. Not a smile, not a hi or a thank you. This once great restaurant has certainly gone downhill. Too bad. No wonder it wasn't busy. I shall certainly miss our drives to Lockport to go to The Half Moon.
