Burger patties are gross , euro weiners are OK , ice cream is standard chapmans hard with very few custom creations. Fries were nothing special. Arcades and vending machines are extremely over priced. Cant help but feel ripped off after eating here not to mention kind of grossed out.

Ice cream was severely disappointing. Had absolutely zero taste… for almost 6 dollars for 2 scoops of watered down ice cream seems ridiculous. Ordered the strawberry and it had ZERO taste of strawberry and vanilla which had a very strange after taste.
The atmosphere is cool and different, staff are attentive and helpful. Though 25 minutes to get a hamburger and fries is also ridiculous since it wasn’t that busy.
Other than the building looking interesting the quality of the food does not match.

Vintage atmosphere and the location is nice. However, food is not particularly impressive. Below average burgers and fries. The fountain drink size is small. Prices are very high considering it's a self serve diner.
Staff is a bit too young and lacks the hospitality aspect. The major reason to come here is just the classic design of this restaurant. With better food and service, this could easily be 5 stars.

Would come here often back in the day so thought to stop in again since we were visiting. The prices and quality are very disappointing. $9 you get just a burger, $20 you get a combo (small fountain drink). You get more bun then anything else-Patty's are very thin, got all the pickle ends. Don't waste your money!

Great Sunday night option for a family dinner. Meticulously maintained premise and grounds with lots of parking.
On-site arcade for the kids.
Typical drive-in fare: burgers, fries, and ice-cream.
If it's busy, expect a wait. We've also noticed that food quality tends to dip a bit when the kitchen is overloaded with orders (volume takes precedence over quality).
Overall: highly recommend - a Manitoba institution!

Odd tasting "the works" poutine. And the chocolate shake had a different distinctive taste. Onion rings could have been deep fried a bit longer, soft and oily.greasy taste. Decor is retro and a very clean restaurant, friendly staff
