The staff was on spot. No issues with the way we were treated Parking was great, we were treated with great service. The problem was our food. My steak was the worst I've ever had. My wife's was also bad. I feel bad saying this, as the whole experience was great, except for the low quality food. When we left, we wondered why this place was still in business. Went there for our 10th. Wedding Anniversary. The service, atmosphere, food (French Onion Soup) was most excellent. It might be a higher price point than your average place. However, it is well worth it.
We celebrated my father-in- laws 90 th birthday this evening. The pristine service, the delicious entrees with high quality ingredients and culinary skills, and the cozy atmosphere of a 100 year plus home was amazing. We wished for nothing more. Leave the bustle of the city …. Come home…. To the Gates. You will not be disappointed.
