Our waiter was wonderful. He was able to show me what foods I could eat as I'm gluten free. He had the bacon, potatoes & eggs Benedict made up especially for me. The main room we had was perfect to carry on a conversation. The Gates had always been my family's favorite. Food was good!

Beautiful event space for larger groups at the back of the main building. Gorgeous outdoor surroundings and lots of natural lighting from big windows. Unobtrusive staff. Sandwiche trays were just sensational, delicious and extravagant. Attended a Celebration of Life and this venue felt respectful, somber and celebratory all at once.

We always enjoy the outstanding flavors of The Gates' dishes. The beet salad and pickerel main are favorites... but anything else that we've ever ordered has never disappointed. Service was top notch without being pretentious. The ambience in the atrium is quiet and cozy. We used to enjoy the view of the paddock but there is construction underway at this time and we're hoping that there will be future landscaping with hedges or trees that will obscure the future parking lot view.

We had a family dinner last night and I felt compelled to write a review. The food was excellent, the portions were huge and the service was top notch. Prices very reasonable. We haven’t gone in a few years and I don’t know why. Will be back soon. (Photo - my Father in law in shock at the size of his Brie cheese 😂)

I needed some time before I wrote this review. I held a Celebration of Life for my husband at The Gates of Roblin. I had only been there once before and I did not view the place before I made my deposit. Nadine was so helpful in my process What I 'liked' the most initially was there was a package for a CoL. I had certain requests and Nadine assured me there would be no problems. And there were none. Nadine had the room exactly as I wanted it. The food was incredible and I asked the staff to keep me a plate, so I could eat as it wound down. The staff were exceptional that day presenting the appetizers and covertly working the room of over 100 guests. Last minute items that I hadn't thought of were dealt with in an immediate manner. I relive the day often as I wanted perfection to honour my husband. I did my part and the staff knocked it out of the ball park. They were considerate, friendly and comforting. I cannot thank the staff and Nadine enough for making the CoL of the love of my life, the most perfect day. The Gates of Roblin was the perfect venue, with exceptional staff.

From the beautiful setting to the attentive service, everything came together to make the day feel seamless and unforgettable. Nadine the Event Manager made the process of planning our day seamless and was available whenever needed.

It was for a party of two, for my wife's birthday! It took almost 10 minutes before someone came to our table. There was a group that had come 5 minutes or so after, who had received drinks before we were even asked. This was for brunch service. A bit irritating considering Ispend over $200 for 2 people.
Not taking away from the food, it was very good!
Just wish the service was better...
