Being from out of province we had never heard of Skinners. Came across it while driving by on a road trip to Banff. Well, I certainly can't resist going in for a "World Famous" hot dog, and 95 years in existence to boot! Just happened to hit it right at opening. Not another person in site. Is this a good thing? Absolutely love the atmosphere and vibe if the place. All the signage, memorabilia on the walls. The classic chrome tables and chairs, RED everywhere.

Great restaurant for any stops for lunch or dinner. The pumpkin spice ice cream tastes smooth, creamy, and tasteful for the fall season! The mozzarella burger tastes wonderful and well made. I recommend this restaurant to those that want to take a time travel to the past and get a vintage restaurant feel, customer service was great and I’ll be back for more!
