Enjoyed lunch at Sonia’s Stand on a gorgeous fall day! The hot dog was very good, the bun isn’t too big, so you can really taste the crisp wiener. The cheeseburger is equally great. Thin, smashed type patty which was cooked to perfection with delicious melted cheese. Ordered large fries to share - extremely generous box of tasty fries! Prices are very reasonable and the service was quick and efficient. Would eat here again!!

We came here for ice cream, the quality, portion and selection was great. Sonia's Stand is exactly what we were looking for in a quiet, cool and relaxing Summer afternoon.

Ordered a poutine on my 2nd visit here. It was average. Just regular bagged fries, gravy and cheese curds. Cant mess it up but wasnt anyrhing special. I expected the best fresh fries and perhaps breeaded and crunchier to hold up against the gravy. Had a burger last visit and again it was average. Nothing special and when theres 3 food joints in 1 sq km, its biggest draw was it had the smallest order line

The onion rings and milk shake was really good the hamburgers were gross
It was mucky and sliding on over threw half of it out did nit like the burgers at all and the mucky cheese wiz on it was also gross
Also no garbage cans to put garbage in
And the tables were dirty and no umbrellas for the sun

Awesome little lunch/dinner stand. My burger however was in pieces and very tossed together. But all in all a decent place to grab food.

First time going and really enjoyed it. Had the veggie burger which is always an adventure when ordered. Really liked it. My partner loved his burger. Will be back for sure.

The cheese in the burgers is cheez whiz. I absolutely did not enjoy my double cheeseburger. The burger itself did not have any taste or the cheese whiz and onions overpowering Fries are not homemade and poutine was very tasteless. The gravy wasn’t very good. No where does it state that the cheese is cheese whiz. 1st and last time there.

Just got a double cheeseburger for the ride back to the city. Burger was great but could have used lettuce and tomato if it's fully loaded not just ketchup and mustard but it was good. Friendly staff at the window but could use a couple more during the busy periods. Took almost 20 minutes. But yes it is made to order but just sayin. Over all I will be back for sure.

Decided to come here on Canada Day. Ordered for me and my family got the food they asked if you want the burgers fully loaded. So I said yeah got the burgers they're thin patties. I got the double and it was still pretty thin and there's only onions and would look to be mustard and maybe Mayo. That's it. There's no lettuce or tomatoes included on that. The fries were like hard. I'm not sure what they cooked it in but it tasted sort of weird. Maybe dirty oil? Paid a total of $48 for a chicken burger, a double cheeseburger, 12 nuggets and two large fries. Honestly it's nothing special. Definitely wouldn't come back again.
