Made a stop at Sonja's stand today with a craving for some homemade french fries. What a big disappointment. They were packaged frozen fries throw in a deep fryer. Very bland, lot of vinegar and salt did little to bring some taste to these fries. Remember past visits to Sonja's in previous years and the fries were fresh, home cut and a savory flavor. Guess that was why the traffic was lined up at the Half Moon.

Had the cheese dog. The wiener didn’t have much flavour. The onions were under-cooked. The bun was one of those ones you can collapse to mush, no texture. And the cheese was non-descript, like Cheese Whiz without the zippy taste. My wife had the same comments about her basic hot dog.

The burger was exactly like Cox's bakery, which I never thought I would get to eat again. The onion rings were not good they were very greasy and you got like 5 for $8 so I was not impressed. I would just get a burger from here from now on.
