Eclectic place with everything and anything from local artisans and abroad.

A gem of a used book and record store, artists emporium, and cafe. Many beautiful pieces of art, sculptures, and pottery for sale. Great tasting treats and delicious drinks. Worth checking out, especially if you have a rainy or cool morning to fill.

We made our first ever visit to Poor Michael's Emporium in Onanole, on our way to Clear Laje, this past week. We had such a wonderful time looking around at all of the interesting and varied merchandise. We sat and had a lovely coffee and sweet treat up in the loft, overlooking the café and parts of the store. I was particularly taken by the Rolling Stone Magazine covers on display and very happy to encounter pottery by my friend and former colleague, Colleen Chamerlin. We will return on our way back to Clear Lake next year!

I stop every time I pass by and always find something to take away with me. Not always books. Their book selection is vast, but they also have beautiful art, clothing and food. I love wandering the bookshelves with an espresso in a handcrafted little mug.

Cool book store and art store with coffee. Something for everyone

Overall interesting space. Came for their recommended coffee, stayed to do some work on my laptop (good wifi connection), admired all the art, ate some food, and even ended up buying a vinyl record while there! A proper gem in a relative small remote community.

Very nice book store with a ton of character. Some really great finds and a really charming atmosphere. It has a really nice coffee shop too that we didn't get a chance to check out due to having to move to other planned things. The place was extremely busy and all the staff seemed super friendly. Really recommend the place

Exceptional food for a little cafe! Great spot for a coffee, cookie and lunch. I’ve also had great luck finding used books here as well as little gifts. A must see if you’re spending time in the area!

Trying to larp as a non-white shop with all the ethnic stuff. It's off-putting because the owner is not non-white. The clothing was unfashionable, something my grandma would wear. And I didn't see price-tags on the books, it just looked like a cafe with a library.
