The Buffalo Bar & Ten Steakhouse

Despite an incredible stay at the Elkhorn Resort, the Buffalo Bar certainly takes advantage of the fact that they’re the most (and only) accessible restaurant for guests. We dined in for dinner, had room service as a part of our package for breakfast and opted for take out the following evening. Breakfast was delicious, as were the maple bacon boneless bites and burgers. However, the restaurant is quite overpriced for what you get. Pictured is one of our two take out burgers. Our bill was well over $50 for two burgers and fries, and nothing else. This is what we received. I’ll be back at Elkhorn but will do my best to avoid the restaurant.

Ate here once, went into town for the remaining time at the resort. The kids loved their meals but ours were terrible. The cream soup had separated and tasted burnt. The fish tacos, described one-way, came with ranch & Chipotle sauces drowning the already soft picked cabbage and chunky pico...none of the flavors went together and it was soft on soft on soft...yuk.
Our server did the best she could with what she was given and was friendly, sympathetic and prompt.
Disappointing restaurant for the amount this resort charges per night - they need to do better.

The Buffalo Bar and Ten Steakhouse are a good options for your meals while your at the spa! For supper last night I had a Reuben Sandwich and a house salad. The salad was fresh tasting and the Ruben had real corned beef not from a package! There was also pickle and tomato on the sandwich. For breakfast I had traditional eggs Benedict. I ordered my eggs medium and they were cooked to hard yolk. The cubed potatoes were nice and crunchy to scoop up all the hollandaise!

We almost didn't come here because of other people's reviews, but we decided to come and judge for ourselves. We are so happy we did. The service was fast, the waiteress super friendly, and the food tasted great!

Incredibly sticky table which the server couldn’t seem to get clean (minimal effort). Glasses smelled bad (like dog breath). Made me wonder to myself about the cleaning practices here. Food was ok.

If you’re staying at elkhorn do yourself a favor and avoid the restaurant. It tastes like it was made in a factory, squeezed out of a bag onto your plate and thrown in the microwave.Go into town where there are some amazing restaurants.

There aren't a lot of restaurant choices for dinner in the Wasagaming area....like three that were open in April.We went to the Elkhorn restaurant, the Buffalo Bar and it was busy which apparently it usually is.Pretty good selection but I wasn't that hungry so I had the cup of tomato bisque soup and small poutine. The soup was amazing!My husband had the steak sandwich which he said was pretty tough.The waitress was professional and speedy...well done!

Food was really good. Tried their Butter beer, it was good. Had wings with honey garlic and Nashville chicken. All of them were really good.

WOW! I guess they don’t have much competition so they can treat the customers very poorly. Visited Elkhorn and stayed in the hotelWith another family. The restaurant would not make any accommodation for us to sit together, stating random policies as justification. They joined two tables with much cajoling but refused to add the necessary amount of chairs stating liquor laws. We spent a lot of money to b here, disappointing that we couldn’t have meals with the family we came with. Side note: they weren’t allowing for take out, so grabbing a pizza and eating it in the room wasn’t an option. RealBummer. And lastly, spoke with the manager who was least understanding/ patient / kind as opposed to the hard working serving staff. Groan.

We had such a wonderful experience here. Staff are warm, friendly and very accommodating. We were here two nights in a row. The manager on duty gracefully handled a belligerent table of women and was still able to carry on smiling and providing exceptional service for the rest of the evening. Our prime rib tonight was cooked perfectly and everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend.
