First the good, this place has amazing food no season to mince words about it, in a world where you often see shrinkflation and increasing costs, this place will absolutely give you your moneys worth, they don’t skimp, they give you extremely fair portions, the quality is superb, it reminds me almost of a home cooked style meal almost like something grandma would make. I thoroughly enjoy the food it’s a hidden gem in south eastern Manitoba.
Now the bad, The parking lot makes the surface of the moon look down right smooth, it’s no exaggeration to state the parking lot is so rough you could realistically do significant damage to your vehicle on approach, if you have a 4x4 it might help, either way go very slow on approach or you’re gonna end up with problems. I assume they leave the parking lot in this state because the foods so generous that if they didn’t maintain this parking lot barrier they’d be swamped with customers endlessly and it’s a strategic choice to keep the meek or timid away.
Jokes aside, highly recommend everyone check this place out, it’s more than fair and the food is superb.

Third times a charm they say. I came to this establishment 3 times now (in the past 3 months). The first two times I had a blast, food was great staff was great, just a nice spot to get some food and some drinks but today, I don’t know what happened. I sat by the bar for almost 20 minutes without even a hello is the seat comfy or would you like something to drink. Both staff members pretended I wasn’t even there, they even cashed someone out. Not sure if it’s the skin tone, the lack of training or they don’t want to be there but they got to do better.

This was my first time here and was having a good time at this bar, at the VLTs I would've ranked it 5 stars if not for the disrespect and unacceptable bullying I overheard from the kitchen staff. The bartender was great, friendly with fast service, she was the only reason I gave any stars at all. But then as we were finishing up a kitchen staff member with black hair and what looked like a tattoo behind her ear came out with ice cream, nobody had ordered because it was mistakenly put in. Her first response was hostility snapping at the bartender to delete it then she proceeded to go back to the kitchen and yell so clearly everyone in the whole bar could probably hear about how she would get written up and fired if she worked anywhere else and it was an unacceptable and punishable thing for her to do. Quite an extreme and unprofessional reaction to ice cream because regardless of how bad someone's day is nobody deserves to be bullied so openly at work. Don't think I'll come again. Her behaviour left a bad taste in my mouth and gave the place bad vibes. Also the pool table didn't work

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon and had our hearts set on all-day breakfast, but they switched over to the lunch/dinner menu. I ended up ordering the pickerel and my hubby went with the steak. Both the fish and steak were cooked perfectly, and the portions were really generous!

Ordered a Hawaiian pizza with extra ham, got home and there was basically no ham, and an unreal amount of sauce. Called them and they refused to do anything about it. Not even an apology for messing it up. Very disappointed by the service.

Worst experience. Easter Sunday. Showed up at 1:50PM. Ordered for 2 at 1:55. Burger and omelet. 25 minutes later. Walked to the cashier. Our waiter has disapered. She left without ordering our food. We left without having eaten anything. Wow.
