Best part of coming to the cottage is to make a stop at the bakery. Donuts are the best. Tried the sausage rolls and also the raspberry scones this time. Delicious.

The owner was very rude and refused to allow me to shop in his place of business due to the fact that I WAS wearing a mask. He apparently has a no mask policy. And assumed that because I choose to wear one that I must be sick. He also stated once I explained that I was in fact NOT sick and wear a mask for protection of myself and others. He made the absurd statement that mask do not protect you.

This is the local bakery with a long history at this location. Owned and operated by a local family. It is always best to order your bread, ahead for pickup or delivery. The great debate is, "does the bread taste better sliced or unsliced?". Or maybe I should say, "why does the bread taste better when it is ..........." and the debate goes on. Thanks
