Stopped here on a road trip. They didn't know how to make the chicken bites I ordered because at the time they were new to the menu. Expected it to be a meal but they just came on top of lettuce. The poutine gravy also tasted a bit off.
After changing to new ownership, this is now a really great restaurant. Everything is very affordable, tastes great, and the owner is a super kind and hardworking guy. Bathrooms are always clean and service was surprisingly fast most times I've been there.
I recently tried the Garlic Cheese Sticks at
Chicken Chef in Russell, and I have to say that they were absolutely awesome and delicious. It’s comfort food done right, with just enough zest to keep each bite exciting. Definitely a repeat-worthy pick from their menu!
