This is a local little gem. Lovely service, wonderful shady location for picnic tables. Food was Delish!!!! My cheddar cheese perogies were so cheddary I've never had a cheddar pergie where you really taste the cheese. My husband's burger was so juicy, and the curly fries were so light and crisp on the outside and so almost melt in your mouth on the inside. Really really lovely!!! 100 percent recommend!!!
Your standard roadside food. Grilled, deep fried or ice cream. It's good, but nothing super amazing (been here multiple times). It is nice though to have the option if you're wanting it and the ice creams are good.
We always stop in Russel to get Connie’s on our way to the lake! It never disappoints, even after years of stopping. Fresh, delicious, nice friendly staff. I’m pretty sure it’s family run- much better to support a business like this than a fast food chain. I would recommend this to anyone stopping through (hungry or not!)
