So this location is pretty sneaky at fudging their service levels...
Most fast food locations have a timed 'counter' that measures the efficiency of their service. From the moment your order is taken to the moment they click the button that you've been served, this metric is used to ensure that a location is meeting the standards of the corporation.
And this location has found a workaround...they clear the orders well before they give the order to the customer. For me, I waited for over 5-minutes for a burger. The fries were cold and soggy, and the person who called out my number didn't even give me a passing glance. I'm not looking for small talk, but some genuine acknowledgement that my patronage is appreciated would be nice.
While this location is inside of the Walmart, save your time and money, and hit up the other location in town.

I rarely eat at McDonald's and years back they changed their buns and hate them now. Not sure why The buns at this location tasted great. maybe it was steamed? Can the manager give some feedback?

One of the worst mcdonald’s I’ve ever seen. Last week i bought hash browns with a coffee and the taste of hash browns was so worst . I don’t think so they changed the oil time to time and after that i got sick and suffer with food poisoning. Both the locations of selkirk is worst mcdonald’s locations.

Horrible drink 3/4 full and couldn’t understand one word the staff member said . Even after I asked for clarification a couple of times no attempt was made by the staff to try to speak clearly. I’m not prejudiced what so ever but if persons can’t speak clear English then they have no business working in a customer service industry that requires you to deal with the public. If I go to another country it’s my responsibility to learn the language properly to communicate. I feel persons coming to Canada are so very lucky to be part of this amazing multicultural country but at least give it the respect of learning and speaking the English language when you are required to do so.I don’t care what language you speak but if your working here where tge English language is the main language then learn it.

On Sunday day Sept 22 at 3pm I placed an order thru the kiosk, I ordered 2 Jr chickens and 2 mcdoubles with extra pickles and onions. The order came pretty quick, I asked the lady if I got the extra pickles and onions, she said yes! When I got home and checked out the order there was no extra anything, the burgers were terrible. I messaged headoffice and waiting for a reply. Don't waste your money at that place! I have pictures of the terrible burgers.

The staff is rude and they don’t know anything about customer service. I am a regular customer, its not the first time . There is lady working there , she so rude and being so disrespectful to me . She made my coffee very cold and doesn’t taste good.

Very inattentive to order or necessities for certain orders.
We ordered a kids chicken nugget, a 6 pc nugget meal, a wrap, and a poutine.

I always check orders before leaving. As my kids need their sweet and sour sauce. The kids' meal had the sauce. My daughter's 6 pc didn't. So I mentioned it. She said it was in there. I told her there's only one and it was for the kids meal. She continues to argue with me about a sweet and sour sauce. My husband asked for a fork for our daughter for her poutine. She said there was one. Which there wasn't. Why would he go back in and ask for a fork if there was one in the bag. They continued to argue. And even got the secret security from Walmart involved over a fork.

Worst customer service ever. I am just very disappointed at how it was handled, and this all could have been avoided if she communicated properly.

Ordered 2 breakfast meals with oj and 2 hasbrowns each. Had to pull out front and wait. Meals were not right as usual and had to wait for cold hard food. I hadn't been there in months because of this and nothing has changed. I know it's fast food but it's not cheap and your getting cold hard food after you waiting for it! Do brtter

I ordered two medium fries. Waited damn near 10 minutes only to get ICE COLD, OVERDONE fries. I go back in to complain, along side another woman who was waiting while I was ORDERING (so well over 10 minutes). I ask for new fries because they’re cold and over done and the kid gives me the same fries from the same over done old batch (because I only waited a minute). I told them they were still old and he old me they were not. I touch them, and surprise surprise
 ICE COLD. then I’m assuming? The manager was going to refuse me, but I told them it wanted new fries. Then I heard some kid in the back cooking call me a Karen. Honestly I don’t know 1) HOW this place is still open 2) IF they know how to cook fries.
