Foods good and tasty, but they really skimp you on the meat portions for there dishes. Ordered a number of times and that seems too be the standard.
Don't be confused by the bad comments. We ordered the deluxe rice, the barbecue pork, and dish number 72, and shared everything between two people. It was the perfect combo—generous portions and everything was delicious. Great flavors and excellent quality. Highly recommended! $45 in total

Food always tasty, large portions, reasonably priced and friendly owners. Our favourite in Manitoba.

Do yourself a favor a drive to Oakbank or Anola for far better Chinese food. Food court Chinese food is way better then the food they serve here.

We went for dinner today not expecting a lot based upon some reviews. But we are in the buy local stage like everyone else. We had a consume soup which was awesome with crunchy noodles ( until they got soaked up) and was a decent size for $2.50. We both had a glass of red wine, which was chilled and very nice, on a cold day as we walked down. we had combo plates I had sweet and sour shrimp which were very fresh and not greasy at all, the veggies were very crunchy and a good quality. Fried rice was like usual ( I’m not a fan) and a very fresh egg roll and the filling was fresh and nice. the other dish had chicken balls with more chicken than batter and it was breast meat, the veal was ok. It could use some music so you don’t hear the other tables conversation. And yes the decor is dated but clean. I don’t know but assume it’s family run, the young man serving us was quiet but polite. Food is good you should try it, a fair bit of take out was happening. will have to try that next time!

I would rate a 0 if I could. It is an absolute waste of money.
Ordered 3 different combo dishes for takeout. About $12 each on the printed menu.
Got a bill for $50 BEFOIRE TAX, silly me left a tip. What a rip.
Worst Chinese food I ever had. Tried 6 months ago it was sort of mediocre but this time it was horrid.
Fried rice was dried out and tasteless except for a dash of soy sauce. Nothing else but stale fried rice with some clumpy white rice mixed in.
Sweet & sour chicken balls and shrimp were mostly batter, they must have painted on the sauce with a small paint brush, could hardly notice it.
Shrimp tasted like old fish, and if there was breaded veal I couldn't tell the difference between it and the chicken.
The egg rolls were so dry inside they were unpalatable. The roll itself was burnt at the edges, like it had been reheated 5 times. How do you screw up an egg roll? And no plumb sauce. Cheap.
I discovered Chinese greens were nothing but limp broccoli, in all 3 combo plates.
I really miss Selkirk (Bill's) Chinese before they closed. It was the best Chinese food anywhere.
Next time I'll try Lockport and cross my fingers. There are no other Chinese restaurants in Selkirk.

Ordered Chicken Chow Mein.
Less than a chicken nugget worth of chicken in the dish.
Spent 40$ on a head of broccoli, a single cup of noodles, and a toss of cauliflower.
The delivery driver was very polite.
When I called and asked about the order, the female owner started to swear and insult me before hanging up the phone.
I called back and spoke to the male owner, who also swore a bunch.
Eventually, I went back into the store with the ufeaten food. The owner gave me a $27.50 refund from my $38.00 order after swearing in front of my five year old son.
I am very disappointed. This place has gone downhill, and we miss the merch.

Before I even start, this cost 75$ + tip, Ordered the breaded veal combo plate, 2x breaded veal, deluxe rice, 6 spring rolls and honey garlic sauce (the containers were barley half full). Not even half an hour after eating 1 plate me and my roommate are feeling sick (I threw up just after eating it). The rice tasted like it sat out all day, breaded veal was soggy (picked most of the breading off) the honey garlic sauce( if you can even call it that) was just gelatine with chunks of garlic in it. For 75$ all the containers were less than half full, my roommate got part of a carrot in the mixed vegetables ( which had 3 pieces broccoli, 1 piece of carrot, 4 pieces cauliflower with no seasoning at all) there were 4 pieces of pork, 4 pieces of beef and 3 pieces of shrimp in the “deluxe fried rice” (and a couple mushroom pieces). We estimated about 50$ for all of it, when we got told 75$ we were taken aback. The only half decent thing was the spring rolls. It’s my birthday and we just wanted some half decent Chinese food, this was ridiculous. Last time we ordered was the same thing, we thought ordering on a weekend it would be fresh, we were wrong. I guess no more Chinese food until a new place comes to town. I’m not a person that does google reviews but after this as my birthday dinner I’m now feeling sick, go to Lockport instead (golden spoon). I should of taken photos but after not eating since noon I was pretty hungry (we were opting for BP at first which I now regret not getting). This was the first time I’ve ordered 75$ worth of Chinese food and barley had leftovers.

May 2/24 , haven’t been here for 20 years as the competition, which shut down , was second to none !!! Soooooo… I Went in to see portion size containers for take out, and if decent, to BUY. The tall skinny Asian man that came out was ABSOLUTELY RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!. Said he was busy, I pretty much ran out the door with his brusque responses . Shall never return ! Sukit Ocean Palace !!!!!
A truly ZERO STAR experience. I have never been more sick in my entire life. Not an exaggeration. I am never one to complain but the food poisoning was absolutely awful. My boyfriend said the food tasted “off” but I didn’t really notice. I actually thought it was great until about 12-24hours later. We both got it real bad, and there’s nothing else we had eaten that would make sense as to why we got so sick. Please don’t bring children here, I cannot imagine if I wasn’t an adult and able to handle the pain.
Honestly this place shouldn't even be in business. The "food" I ordered was barely edible and the majority of it was thrown in the trash. The restaurant is also absolutely filthy. The province recently shut them down for insanitary conditions, so I guess it really is bad.Too bad Selkirk lost it's other Chinese place. We really need an option that isn't this dump.
