Breakfast visit; first time here. "Light & Bright" breakfast: 1 egg, 2 bacon, hashbrowns with fried onions added. Didn't order toast. $9.99. Meal was barely warm. Coffee good; partner had the ham, 2 eggs, hash, toast. According to the bill, his $12.99 meal was specially priced below mine. Small plodge of onions was $1 extra. Didn't have to wait for a table, but the place was busy. While recognizing that, it's still not a reason for barely warm food. A plate warmer would have helped in the kitchen. Recommendation: ask if there's a special, & if what's being asked ( Would you like onions?) has an extra charge.

Have gone here for seven years. Sadly in the last year I was disappointed one time, then tried again - no better, third or fourth time!! Now off my go to list. Spaghetti was saturated in what appeared to be canned sauce, chicken parm was dried out and tasted like box food. Desserts are now from Sysco, not made by the former awesome baker. The staff are always amazing though. Best of luck.

I gave a one because I couldn’t give a zero. I ordered takeout from Roxie’s and my food was so soggy it was not edible and I had to throw it away. My fries were so wet the crust peeled off and my wrap was wet. I called to explain the situation and they told me they would call me back to let me know what they could do for me. It’s been two weeks and I did not receive a call so I phoned them myself. I explained how i could not eat my food and the lady told me that i should not expect the same quality for take out food as sit down food. She also proceeded to tell me that because it’s take out it gets soggy and that there is nothing they can do about it. I then said that I understand the food may not be as fresh being take out but that my food should be edible. I also said if they tell me it’s going to be 30 minutes for my food to be ready and I show up early I’d like to think my food would not get soggy in that amount of time. All she had to say over and over again is that I shouldn’t expect good quality food if I’m ordering take out and they are not doing anything for me. So in the future if you order take out, it is most likely going to be soggy and they will do nothing for you and say it won’t be the same quality. I have been a customer for years, and will not be going back if this is the quality I should expect going forward.

Great food, big portions decent prices.
Food was hot and well cooked. Portions are huge (took about half home). SERVICE WAS GREAT! Perfect spot for a low-key night out and decent bar food and drinks.

Food sucked, I guess it was excellent under old management. Ordered the breakfast and hash browns were served burnt, and bread was as hard as a rock

I have been going here on and off for many years. The food has been steadily gone downhill since it changed hands. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I ordered the Country Chicken Dinner with white sauce. When the waitress put the plate down I noticed a burnt smell which turned out to be the chicken which was burnt almost black! The white sauce tasted like the lid fell off the pepper shaker and the cook just said oh well and stirred it in!!! The one redeeming thing that saved me from sending the plate back was the bistro fries were hot and crispy unlike my friends which were cold and soggy!

I had the hogwood and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I will be back for sure.

I was so excited to find out they had almond milk for my coffee and dairy free cheese for my breakfast wrap. The day before we had supper there, I had the thai chicken salad it was delicious and huge! My husband had pierogies and kielbasa and he was happy with his meal.
