Had dinner at the Stead this past weekend and they're right, you haven't done it until you've done it in a barn! Great atmosphere, great steaks (heard the ribs are great as well), and the peach cobbler is amazing. Our server David was very pleasant, attentive and engaging. He made us some great drinks to quench our thirst and achieved just the right balance of attentiveness, but not hovering. Great work David!

This was the best restaurant food I’ve had in awhile! I had the steak and my husband had the ribs- both were so flavourful and tender! Atmosphere is rustic for sure🙃 Dave was our server and he could not have been any nicer, wonderful service! Oh and the very young man who sat us was also lovely!!
Heard about this place on social media and decided to drive out from Winnipeg and check it out. It’s definitely a strange place but it was kind of cool. It’s got a barn/ steakhouse thing going on. The other reviews are pretty accurate about service and price. I had the 10oz ribeye and it was very thin, almost sandwich style but it was delicious. Great fries and coleslaw. My wife said it was one of the worst Long Island ice teas ever but she absolutely loved her burger. I don’t...
