Food: Awful for a bbq place. Any Montana's easily beats this place. Sorry to say. The only time I have had a brisket that tasted like an extra well done chewy steak, it has been here.

Service: OK

Good place to bring people who have not had bbq in their life. Don't keep high expectations for their reaction.

My meal was awful! Had burger steak with fried onions/ mushrooms, carrots, mashed potatoes. The beef was flavorless ( they use wagyu but that's highly questionable) onions/shrooms were no where near fried! The carrots were inedible, I did enjoy the mashed potatoes but how can you screw that up? The drive from Winnipeg was nice! Very disappointing! Will not return!

Was very disappointed with my meal! Had burger steak, (they say Waguy but we thought it was highly questionable), fried onions which were not even close to being fried! The carrots were hard and inedible. The only thing I enjoyed was the mashed potatoes, but who can go wrong with that! One person out of 4 liked their food. The drive from Winnipeg was nice but that's about it! Not returning!

The food was great, but I'm not sure if it was worth the cost.

Very impressed. This restaurant was recommended to us, and we took the chance to try it out after a sports competition. We arrived at around 11 am, and it started filling up quickly after that.
If you like brisket, BBQ, all things meats, you want to give this one a try.
The food is very good, although i would have like to have some jalapeño slices with my quesadillas, just to make it a bit more spicy; but maybe I also could have ask if they had any. Bigg portions, attention was very fast and amicable. It seems like it's always packed in here, but that's not a problem. This is a big restaurant and in the summer outdoor picnic tables.
I will recommend this restaurant and will come back again.

Had the 3 meat platters and there was plenty of food for 2.
Good flavors but the brisket was a little dry. Ribs were delicious and the sausage was also great.

Man, where do I begin. Can rename this place heart attack grill considering their burgers are pretty much drenched in grease. Also, you got rid of the nachos and replaced the texas tots with totchos( same thing as tater tots just without out the hot links and salsa on the side) and made them 1 dollar cheaper for a smaller portion and less meat. Bringing down quality and quantity while raising prices, cholesterol, and blood pressure. If I ever come back, I'll have an ambulance waiting outside

Bonsoir les amis.

The food here was well worth the drive (in the EV that I got stuck with) in this frigid MB weather (-26 feels like -35)!!!

I ended up ordering the BIGG Q and Tanya - super helpful and the quintessential nice Manitoban that she is; helped me choose and she was kind enough to ask about my dietary requirements in terms of pork restrictions.

Coming to the food; the chicken was moist and well cooked, the beef brisket hit the spot; it was juicy, tasted divine and was not dry or burnt for that matter. Their mashed potatoes are also made from scratch, are smooth and just the right amount of salty.

I had forgotten to add the Corn muffin (make sure you try it out) which Tanya gladly brought for me and the sweet tea is a must have as it is made in house (just like their sauces!) and it’s just the right amount of sweet!

Winnipeg.

Fantastic brisket and excellent service! The smoker delivers perfectly cooked, flavorful meat with a great smoky taste. There was a small mix-up with our order, but the waitress Rachel handled it quickly and professionally, ensuring we had a great experience. Highly recommend this spot for BBQ lovers!

We actually ordered food for take-out during our stay at the nearby hotel. We called at 4 hoping to pick up our food at 6 but were told 6:15, ok fine. When my husband went to pick it up he waited till after 6:30 and heard a staff member in the kitchen say that take-out orders were not important. My husband called him out on it and was then rudely told go sit down. This same staff member dropped some silver plates on the floor, picked them up and wiped them with his shirt and proceeded to put food on them to bring out to customers.
My husband spoke with the shift manager who thankfully listened. She apologized, refunded our money and said the head manager would call us but that hasn't happened and likely won't.
The food was greasy and lukewarm.
Our experience was not good and we won't be back.

So, been wanting to try this place since moving back to MB,last time we came in,we were not expecting the long wait, but this time we were ready for the estimated 45 min wait ( turned out to be more like 25).

Anyways, the place was packed, an old school cafeteria vibe, and the food was very good. My partner and I ended up deciding on the half feast (2-3) people, I think that would require probably 2-3 large appetites as we left with a lot of leftovers.

The feast itself was alil bit of everything from their Q menu ( we added burnt ends because I feel like that's mandatory) and legit, was on point! Now, not the best BBQ ever I had, but I'd say like the edge of the top 5. The sides were decent; mac and cheese, cesar salad, and fries ,which were nice and crispy, reminded me of Cavendish. The dish also came with bread on the side, and my recommendation would be to get the surcharge for the cornbread muffin, I just failed to ask the waitress for it.

The cost was on point, not too expensive, not cheap, but just right. We met our friend there, they had a burger which also looked yummy, like kinda what you'd expect from made from scratch, and at 15 bucks, better off going there than McDonald's.

Overall nice experience, service was good enough, a bit of a delay at the end when we wanted to leave to pay our bill, lots of standing around, BUT, it was around closing time, so I'm not too spun up about it, but some others out there would be. Will definitely be back again to try some other menu items or maybe go threezies on the feast next time around, lol.

Kid-friendliness: Seems like the kids like it. There was bday party there tonight.

I ordered the ribeye and it was not worth 1 star can’t be 50 bucks and chewy ass steak and corn that tasted bad plus a dirty potato

But the poutine was bomb and the brunt ends are awesome but never a steak again there the mushrooms were raw, even cold

Dietary restrictions: They ask

Parking: Lots over a 100 spots I think
