New owners made the place look amazing and at a more than affordable price for what you get. Great and spacious lounge-bar freshly renovated with arcade games, 3 pool tables, stage and comfy sitting. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast restaurant and a substantial rebate comes with the initial booking.

This was a very nice stay and a beautiful meal on our way through Manitoba. We wanted somewhere outside of the city and this popped up as an inexpensive option. The restaurant was outstanding. The food was hot, delicious and fast as well as very reasonably priced. Service was wonderful. The room was much better than expected based on some of the reviews complaining of a smell. The bed was clean and comfortable. There is a mini fridge with freezer. The shower was clean and hot and nice. I would definitely recommend this place for a good sleep and an amazing meal. The pub and VLT area seemed clean and well maintained as well.

It's been like 8 or 9 months of renovations here and they're still somehow not finished. It's been so underwhelming and only an inconvenience every time I've come here. Either i have to go a weird route, or people and their nasty empties had to, or it was constant constant noise from the construction. And nothing's different except a new vlt room (that the staff can't even easily access to bring drinks) and a slightly more spacious bar. I thought you were going to improve the way it looks. Literally just reused the panels for the booth area, went with the most dull and depressing grey, and put the cheapest laminate in front of the bar instead of spending a lil bit of money and redoing the disgusting carpet. Something seems to be going on behind the scenes too. The staff here are some of the most personable people you'll meet ever meet. They take time to get to know almost all of their customers and are incredibly friendly, more so than any place in town. But lately, everyone just seems burnt out suddenly. Seems like another case of a guy with money buying and running a business into the ground because all he sees are dollar signs.

I only had breakfast there this visit - it is always stellar!! Definitely recommend. I do not recommend staying in the rooms, they smell badly and don't feel very clean, they did don't give any feeling of safety....
