Pita Pit

We went there yesterday and we seen a sign on the window buy 1 pita get 1 50% off. We went in and ordered two and got charged for two full pitas. We realized once we got back in the vehicle so I went back inside and confronted the lady. She said that expired Nov 28th… it was Dec 22nd.
I went and looked at the sign and there was no expiry date visable. So I just told her well maybe you should remove the sign then. Drove past again today and the sign is still up. I was told by the worker that oh well you didn’t tell me about the sign earlier so she made it very clear that it was somehow our job to ask for the deals that they provide.
Also extremely overpriced for what you get.

Went in for a chicken rice bowl, was told rice wasn’t ready yet. Said that’s ok I’ll get a pita. Paid for my pita, employee asks if I wanted white or ww pita, picked white. Employee heated it up and layed it down on the sandwich prep counter beside the veggies. Employee asked me what veggies I wanted. The veggies were clearly bad, lettuce was brown and slimy, sprouts were slimy. I asked if she was using the displayed veggies and then she said no. She said she just got there (I was there approx 1/2 after opening) and still needed to dispose of yesterday’s veggies. She got a fresh lettuce container out and used that. I then asked for sprouts thinking she would grab the fresh sprouts to which she didn’t. I again asked if she was going to use these sprouts and she indicated she was. I asked her to get the fresh sprouts. She grabbed a container containing “fresh” sprouts, grabbed a slimy clump and put them on my pita. I told her she cannot use these sprouts and asked her to remove them. I left and did eat my pita (only bc I was starving) and luckily I didn’t get food poisoning. Worst pita pit experience I have ever had.

Ordered with Doordash... Pita chips, I got only regular chips and no dip. 9$ halloumi sticks, got 4 small pcs.

I am very dissapointed in this Pita Pit location. For $18.54 including a $2.42 (15%) tip - before getting service - for a Chicken Shawarma wrap, I have to say this is the smallest chicken shawarma I have recieved and I will not be back to this Pita Pit. I eat at many Pita Pit locations in western Canada and this was the smallest I have experienced and was very dissapointed in the size and pirtions. I am providing a picture which will show my reciept and the scale of the sandwich with my keys.

We were given a quote for 3 trays to feed our large group. When we returned to pick up the order, the total came to more than double what we were quoted! When questioned, the staff stated they had misquoted us and only quoted 2 trays worth. Now we were faced with how to feed our group, or paying double what we were quoted! Absolutely no efforts were made by the staff to offer any type of discount for their error.

I had a wonderful experience at Pita Pit Steinbach. The food was fresh, tasty, and exactly how I wanted it. I was served by Girija, and she gave such amazing service — friendly, fast, and very attentive.

It’s always nice to be served by someone who cares about making sure you have a great meal. Thank you, Girija, for making my visit so pleasant! Highly recommend this location to everyone. Will definitely come back again.
