Other customers are pretty close to each other. Just a little more space and some more music volume would be wonderful. Other than that it's almost perfect

Burger was so dry and tasted like nothing. Stir fry came out and the noodles were cold. Didnt even bother finishing the meals. Will not be coming back

Sat on the patio (which is actually just kinda the sidewalk) in the evening. I had the fish and chips - fish was pretty meh. Not a lot of actual fish and mostly just breading. The breading was difficult to cut through somehow. Was also pretty loud on the street, not that they can control that but kinda difficult to hear conversation.

Ordered the fish and chips with a side of gravy. Took 50 minutes to receive our food (only 4 other tables in the place including the people on the patio) What I recieved was fish that was so coated in batter and over cooked that you couldn't cut it with a steak knife and had the consistency of rubber, the fries looked like they had been rolled around on the floor and the gravy was more like hot BBQ sauce.

Solid food at a reasonable price. I had the creole pasta, it was loaded with all the good stuff, shrimp, sausage, mushrooms. My wife had the thai curry and rated it highly. The beer menu could use an upgrade, otherwise all good

Food is typically wonderful today. Had something different…..and it was a fail. It was an expensive child for $13.99. The amount was so tiny, like a small soup can size. The taste was fine but NOT “Sawney Great”. It came with. Tiny portion of tortilla chips. Just to present the plate. Not to give you a side. And the service was terrible. After so many years of loyalty, our family will find another restaurant to invest in.

I had a burger and it was pretty good. I ordered a Ceasar and didn't care for that. Service was good though.

One of the few places in Steinbach where you can find good food, a good vibe, and good beer. A classic Canadian bar/diner with a touch of British cuisine. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded on Saturday night. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh, which is very important to me.
My order was:
Butter shrimp: 5 out of 5. Nice texture, great sauce.
Wings: 5 out of 5. Really meaty and hot, I mean in terms of physical temperature.
Mash and bangers: 5 out of 5. The sautéed onions were amazing. The bangers themselves were natural, without MSG or meat replacement.
Thai-style shrimp and rice: 3 out of 5. It felt somewhat oriental-inspired, but more like a mix of flavors without a clear idea behind it. I would suggest replacing this dish with fried rice with shrimp. It takes the same amount of time to prepare and definitely has a better taste.
Beer: St. James Ale was nice but a bit plain and simple. In other hand this is a good choice to drink with food.
Overall, 5 out of 5
