This place is a local treasure. Food and atmosphere always rock. I find the service to be lacking noticeably in the last few visits. Specifically the last visit I was seated and wasn't even asked if I wanted a drink for over 20 minutes. The visit prior no one came by to our table at all the entire time, not to ask if we wanted more drinks or food etc. Just bizarre.
This is my number 1 spot though in town. I do hope the service improves a bit.

This was my first time checking out Sawney Beans in Steinbach. I had the BBQ burger and the chocolate banana cheesecake. All I can say is Wow! Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had and the cheesecake was to die for! Pub style setting & the service was great too! I will definitely be going back!

Was really busy, which is a good thing, not too much time waiting for a table for my friend and I.
I enjoyed the pub atmosphere, our waitress, in general was friendly, but, not overly helpful.
