The food is amazing. The owners are wonderful. I am grateful that they offer celiacs a safe place to eat. They are the only restaurant in Stonewall that has a dedicated fryer for fries. Thanks!
Took my granddaughter for tea. It was a lovely experience.
I had a wonderful experience with some family. I am from Saskatoon and it was worth the drive. The food was excellent but our server Candice was simply amazing. She was the kindest and most genuine server I have ever met. Like really who gets a hug from your server!!! Right!!!! What a beautiful person and a great sense of humour. I will be back!!
Menu
The McLeod House Tea Room, Restaurant, and Boutique offers a delightful dining experience with a touch of old-fashioned charm. The menu features a variety of dishes, including a spicy Thai noodle bowl, a quiche and harvest salad, and a tasty Reuben sandwich. The restaurant's specialty iced tea is a popular choice, though some found it a bit watered down. The upstairs boutique also provides an opportunity for some novelty shopping.
The food is praised for its deliciousness, with the spinach apple salad with cinnamon dressing being a wonderful surprise for its unique flavor. Portions are generous, and the hamburger is made with a fresh, homemade patty, accompanied by home-cut fries. The value for money is considered excellent. The service is described as friendly, accurate, and fast.
While some guests found the quiche a bit bland, the overall ambiance and service are praised, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant offers a delightful blend of good food, great service, and old-world charm, making it a popular choice for both regular and first-time diners.
