Great service! The Fall special was a bargain.

Oh, and the pork? None better. Period.

I got the fall special this past weekend and it was fantastic!! The pig and the sides were so delicious, all of my guests loved it. I would get Danny’s whole hog again!

We had booked Danny’s whole hog for our wedding. When we had discussed a time we said we would like the food to be ready for the guests 6:15 and they had told us they would be there 30-40 mins in advance to set up. Well they had arrived at 6:45-6:50 and not set up until 7:15. We had called multiple times to see where they were with no response, we had multiple guests leave to go get food as they had small children. If it was 10-15 mins late that would be understandable but over a hour from the time it was supposed to be it held up our whole wedding and it was in a town not a hard place to find and comes up on google maps so getting lost is not possible. When they arrived hey gave us zero explanation and some of the food was cold. When we reached out to their office they still gave no explanation and offered us $100 off the 3200 we had paid we declined and the said the absolute most was 200. Overall very poor experience especially on such a important day for us

We ordered the Fall Special which included pork, Coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans, dinner rolls, BBQ sauces, butter, plates and cutlery for 20 people. Everything was absolutely amazing and plenty of food for everyone. It was a seamless transaction from ordering to picking it up. Not one complaint from any of our guests. Delicious!!!!!

Fabulous and friendly service with the whole team from Danny’s Whole Hog. Ordering and pickup was quick and easy, they were clear with their instructions how to cook the hog and the meat turned out fantastic! It was the star of the menu for our celebration!
Highly recommend!
Thank you Danny’s Whole Hog!

After reading some reviews I ordered Danny's for my 50th birthday. I hoped dinner would be excellent, but they well exceeded my expectations. The pulled pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The salads were great and the perogies were delicious! Very big servings as we had A LOT of pork, beans & salads left (catered for 45, had just over 50 ppl). I could have ordered a few extra perogies because they disappeared quite quickly. Communication was great too! I’d definitely order again for my next big event!

Danny's catered a family reunion for 30 people on August 24th. I picked up the food and I think I gained 5lb just from the aroma. Great food and really plentiful. Lots of people got meals for the next day. I don't know if they make their own buns, but they're really good. Thank you for helping to make it a great day!

Catered in for my wedding last weekend, and it was not good at all! Really watery coleslaw, which didn't look like coleslaw, Cesar Salad was rusty and limp, pulled chicken was dry, and the brisket was nothing but fat. I will not recommend to anyone.

At our open house today, we had a Danny's whole hog, and my brother and I were asked to serve the meat. The hog was fully cooked when we picked it up and was nicely wrapped to keep it hot. But when we went to serve the meat, it had a stale rancid smell, especially the fatty meat.
I tasted a small piece, and that was it I couldn't eat it. Soooo disappointed and a huge letdown.
I would suggest that you put a butcher date on the carcass so that you know how old the meat is

Catering - Danny’s Whole Hog 11/10 - We just had our wedding 8.4.2024 - We met and tasted Dannys at the wonderful wedding show - We have a few food restrictions and some vegan guests and they were so easy to work with on the menu - We had heard great things about their food but the day of it was stellar they were here on time and the staff that came to serve was amazing! We got compliments all night about how great the food was and the price point to feed our 100 guests was unmatched! Even our vegan guests raved about how good the vegan options were! These guys are amazing! Seriously if your considering them dont wait it was the best decision we made!

The Food and service was incredible! We ordered dinner for 35 people to celebrate my father in laws 100th upcoming birthday! We had Pulled Pork which is out of this world tender and oh so delicious, Baked Beans-ohhhhh sooooo perfectly delicious, Perogies-not enough so mst order more because they are the greatest most flavourful ever, Coleslaw-sorry this was not a hit with our group-tons left…a comment was that it looked like rice and wasn’t the best they have had and delicious fresh Buns! We will absolutely order again! Provided with the meal was plates, cutlery, napkins, salt and pepper, butter and 3 pulled pork sauces (wish we had a choice). If you have free time you should drive to their place on HWY 6 as they have a small store where you can buy sauces, turkey pockets, other packaged meats and homemade pies!! Next time I will get a pie or 2! Thank you so much Danny’s Whole Hog!

It’s time I make a review from my wedding meal.
First off I want to say I had heard nothing but great things about Danny’s Whole Hog so when we decided to do a backyard wedding, this was the first thing we thought of.
When we called to order, everything went very smoothly. The lady taking the order was very pleasant. We were quoted around $3000 for the meal for around 60 guests. That included a whole hog, broccoli salad, meatballs, perogies and I believe that was it. (Our wedding was a year ago so numbers could be off but it’s an estimate).
When the two women showed up with the food, they didn’t seem very prepared. They seemed to be running around everywhere getting things set up. Once the food was set up, I was told they forgot our vegetarian option back at the shop and it would take at least 30 minutes to go and get. I said “well we have a few vegetarians and it wouldn’t feel right to eat without them eating so we will wait the 30 minutes”. Here I thought the food would be set on warmers like I’ve seen at every other wedding I’ve been to that was catered, so it would be fine. Well by the time the one lady got back with the vegetarian option, we finally got to start grabbing food and it wasn’t even remotely warm! No warmer in site, the pork was cold, the meatballs which didn’t even look like meat were cold, perogies were cold. Just extremely disappointing. The best part of the meal was the broccoli salad! The pork was so dry I couldn’t even cut it with a knife.
For the price we paid, we expected so much more. I wouldn’t recommend Danny’s to anyone unfortunately. There’s a bunch of other places to get catered around the area. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment.

recently attended a wedding catered by Danny's. the coleslaw and macaroni salad was good but the ceasar salad was watery, limp lettuce no flavour and to many croutons. the pulled pork was overdone with hard pieces of pork you could not chew, the sliced beef was ok boy little taste . the sauces available were only 4 with 3 spicy ones and one honey and garlic that was empty...
