Great food and service, however I feel like the cost isn't reflected. We ordered a glass of wine, non-alcoholic beer and two entrée specials then shared a dessert. The bill before tip was $185.00.
25-30% more than most restaurants at that level. Ambiance is cozy but could be updated.

Lol. I had to intervene.
To the lady comparing digby scallops the size of a hockey puck brought in from nova scotia and delucas Italian fennel sausage to the olive garden where their meals come frozen and are microwaved is quite a disconnect.

The cuisine at this establishment was decidedly average, falling short of expectations for an Italian restaurant. One of our guests ordered the halibut, which was unfortunately overcooked, resulting in a texture reminiscent of canned tuna. When this was politely brought to the server’s attention, the situation was exacerbated by Chef Alex’s unprofessional response. Rather than addressing the issue with grace, the chef emerged from the kitchen to argue that the dish was "perfectly cooked," dismissing the legitimate concerns of our guest in a condescending manner. His behavior was rude and uncalled for, leaving a negative impression.
Given the atmosphere and the chef's lack of professionalism, I would suggest considering alternatives like Olive Garden, where the experience is more predictable and booking months in advance is unnecessary. As someone who works in a high-end restaurant, I know the importance of treating guests with respect and properly addressing any concerns, which was clearly lacking here.

Banned for life!!!!Well, we will NOT be going back to Casa Bianca. No specific complaints about the food, the weight staff was friendly and attentive. But all of that changed at the end of our meal when we were suddenly informed that we were expected to pay the bill for all nine of us in one amount because the chef had chosen to serve us family style, and apparently at the bottom of the menu, it is noted that there will be one bill Including the 20% automatic gratuity. Since we were not given a menu, we were surprised by the one bill at the end of our meal.We were a group of people celebrating a friends birthday many of us meeting for the first time - a rather awkward situation to suddenly be expecting a complete stranger to pay the whole bill and then collect from a bunch of other complete strangers. Having us pay individually for each of our meals instantly created an environment of hostility from the weight staff and especially from the owner/chef.The owner/chef yelling on the phone after we left at my friend, who had booked to celebrate her birthday, telling her that we were no longer welcome at the establishment. It’s OK because it’s the last restaurant we would return to and give our business.

The food is the best in the Interlake in my opinion. I could not believe the negative reviews as the portions are large and the food is beautifully flavoured. We love the veal dishes, the fish dishes and the portobello mushrooms with escargots. Serving staff is always a delight.
This is our second time to this establishment. The first visit in 2015 was fantastic. The food was delicious and the ambiance was very nice. Our second visit was no where near our first experience. We were seated in an area off the main room with cafeteria type table and chairs with chipped up paint on walls. We waited over an hour for our bruchetta appetizer. It was fine but nothing special. For our main meals we had veal scallopini and a shrimp dish. Both had laclustre sauces and very sparse portions and we were served a bowl of penne with a little tomato sauce but it was tasteless and we had to share. The shrimp dish was $45 and the veal $40. Will be our last visit.
Best of the Interlake. Thanks Alex!
