Johnnees is a gem at Winnipeg Beach!. Perfect place for unwinding after a day in the sun. The Mark burger is juicy and the fries are crispy exactly what you want from a beachside spot. Plus, the staff are always smiling and ready to help. It's a must-visit if you're in the area!

The best chili burgers on the beach.🏝️ Johnee’s is all about quality and their friendly staff shows it. Please support this family owned business. Buy a double fat boy you won’t regret it.

Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was the worst I’ve ever had. Dry bun and the patty was tasteless. Had a teaspoon of chili on it. The fries were good.
For what I paid, expected better quality! Won’t go back!

I would have given it a 1. But the fries were good. After we complained about them being cold. They gave us a new order and they were piping hot.
The burger was yucky.
It was a thin dried out pre-made burger that had no taste. There was the tiniest bit of what I think would have been chili on the bun. And the bun was not overly fresh. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.
And it was pricey for what you got.

🌟 Timeless Charm in Every Bite

A truly classic, old‑style eatery—this place feels like a cherished time capsule where time stands still.

Easy dine-in experience and friendly service make every visit a pleasure.

The homemade fries are a standout—crispy, comforting, and simply the best.

Overall vibe is cozy and affectionate; definitely a great little gem you’ll fall in love with.

Went for the Double Fat Boy, and shared a large fries as there were so many. Expensive for what it was. Tasted OK for where it was.

Place was packed but the staff gave their all to get food out to people in a timely manner. Really liked the chili flavor used on the burger here. Grabbed some onion rings too... a little over cooked but still nothing to really complain about. Great stop on the boardwalk for a bite to eat during the summer. Did not order the poutine but after seeing others with it... that will be something to get next time I'm in town.

Great food, great service, my milkshake was tasty. It was busy, but I still got my food pretty quick and of good quality. The cashier was nice.

My job takes me all over Canada and USA. I can honestly say that I have a new winner for Worst Hamburger Ever. Johnees jumps to the top by far. I didn't even finish my cheeseburger. The bun fell apart, the cheese was fused in to the crumbly bun and there was a small butter like smear of chili. I'm not even sure how you can actually make such a patheticly bad cheeseburger.
By far THE WORST CHEESEBURGER IN NORTH AMERICA!!
The fries and gravy were good though.
