New management since the last time I was here. Good news, while my last visit was enjoyable, the new team has made it even better. Great food, excellent service. The chief cook and bottle washer came out to check on us and I am very impressed. She knows her stuff. It's a tough location since it's a ways off the main roads but the location on the water is a major bonus and worth the drive. I highly recommend Morris Point Restaurant to all.

This place has awesome food! The staff are mostly young teens which is good for keeping our youth away from doing other unproductive things. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. It's right on the water and it's quaint little establishment. It has outdoor seating as well. We've decided as a family to start making this a frequent place to eat but the favorite is hands down the cream of crab soup (Lawd Jesus?). It's so hearty and they don't cut corners on the crab meat. I highly recommend anyone reading this to go take yourself and the family. You won't regret it.

Previous owner chef produced really good food. But restaurant was sold a year or two ago and now is okay / mediocre. We still go because it's on the water near our home so we can take the boat.

Nasty frozen cod that was just tiny shreds of fish with a burned, thick coating of breading about 1/4 inch thick. Horrible, inedible crabcake; canned spinach. Everything about this place was disgusting except the view. Plus, it was very expensive!

Great food, wonderful service and loved being by the river.
Highly recommend! All of the food was delicious. The seafood pasta and broiled scallops were the best. The staff is very personal. It was so good we went back the next day for lunch.

Southern MD Boater We are boaters and have been going to the restaurant for many years. It’s under new management and have eaten there twice. There are few water access restaurants along the lower Potomac and its tributaries. The food and service is good. However I was surprised by their crab cake sandwich is now $28. That is more that any other restaurants around this area. It was very tasty. But I was perturbed by the surcharge for using a credit card. Who carries over a hundred dollars around with them? The use of credit cards to pay for your food should not be penalized by charging for it. Also $28 dollars should be more than enough to cover the owners expenses.

Nice seating on the deck, or server was excellent. The food was good but they seem to be out of a lot of items.

Made Brunch reservations for 3:00 p.m. on Mother's Day. They were out of eggs, hollandaise sauce, etc, and basically everything from the brunch menu. They gave us a lunch menu, then they were out of shrimp, oysters and several other items. We had the fish bites which were extremely salty and the hush puppies which were ok.They were unprepared for the day.The place is quaint and has a wonderful view of the water. The staff was friendly and apologetic.I may go again, not sure.
Food and atmosphere are great.
