Always out of pretzels…

Tim

Not open at 10:30, even though Google say it's open. So many people walking up and the girl says they're closed. I wanted one of those pretzels that were right there, but no. No way to operate a business. So many lost sales, but they obviously didn't care.

This business, if you can even call it that, is trashy and utterly disgusting. I was craving the classic taste of a buttery Auntie Anne’s pretzel, so I went to this rest stop to satisfy my craving. There were several people waiting in line. I was confused when suddenly the line seemingly started to disappear, and I understood why after facing the terrible, ignorant staff working there. The four to five of those chair-like bums (maybe one of them gets to be a table, at least she was somewhat helpful) were on their phones and gossiping about God knows what, being paid for giving their customers an attitude. Upon trying to order, the lady supposed to be serving the customer, ME, showed me a grimace of a look and uttered, “Uhmm, yea. We’re not doing that now,” and proceeded to lift her hand, not to give us a pretzel or even take our money, but only to point us to the door. There were pretzels in the case and they could have easily served us, but they proved themselves useless and a disappointment to this company. This is the all time rudest, most disgusting treatment I have ever faced from a food service employee. I hope this was some kind of joke. What a waste of a company’s time and money. To say the least, I was dissatisfied and even pushed to the point of annoyance, leading to nothing but a sour face, empty hand, and hungry belly upon stomping out of the door fast away from this greasy dump. Auntie Anne’s Corporate, if you know what’s best for your company, close this one or hire new employees FAST!!!

If I gave this place 2 stars their rating would go up. But I'm not, 1 star for you. They had no customers in line. I go and ask for A PRETZEL. The girl at the counter says, "we don't have any pretzels". Not, we don't have any, but we will in 10 minutes. "We don't have any pretzels". They weren't about to close, there wasn't a big influx of customers that just ate their pretzel stock. They just didn't make any. 4 people working. No pretzels.? ?

The costumer service was horrible. We waited in line because they refused to serve anyone until they had restocked the pretzel bites. We only wanted to order normal pretzels which were just sitting in the case. Finally after getting the order to go, we find that one of our pretzels is completely undercooked. Keep in mind that the pretzel in the photo is a plain pretzel, not one stuffed with cheese…that’s raw dough.

We stopped at Maryland house ( off of interstate 95 in maryland) on our way home from our family vacation. We saw your stand there with 2 lady’s behind the counter. We saw a small line in which we decided to wait in. After about 5 min zero of attention given to us or the other people in line. I walk up to the front and ask if they were open. After 3 attempts they finally answered as I was apparently interrupting their very private conversation. They looked at me and said they were restocking their pretzels. Then the other lady said rudely we don’t have any pretzels. And gestures to the case. I ask how long and again rude said 10 mins. Then they started talking to each other about god knows what. This isn’t an issue if you tell people as the walk up or have a sign up to tell customers. But to let families line up and not “notice” them. That’s crazy. We walk away and so did multiple customers. Pretzels aren’t that important to be treat that way. We probably would have waited 10 mins. But not with zero customer service no way.

Extremely rude. Four employees stood around chatting and refused to serve me a pretzel until they were done listening to their co-worker’s story. They yelled at me for asking to be served, so I left without a pretzel.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this one deserves it. The line was long but everyone was patient. There were 3 girls working and an empty case of food. The line moved steadily until one of the girls decided to take her break despite the huge line. She just left and the other two started just cooking which is fine but when we asked questions they were short and rude. They stopped being behind the cash register at all.

Then even when they had some product in the case (including the products I was trying to buy), they refused to man the register or talk to anyone at all until “the entire case is filled”. So we just watched them talk and cook. My dad went to ask them a question and they ignored him.

When we finally got our salted nuggets and cinnamon nuggets, my salted nuggets were barely salted, they were soggy from the grease and tasted not fully cooked. The cheese sauce was outrageously priced at 4 dollars… the whole experience was awful which is very unusual for auntie Anne’s. We’ve had many great experiences but this one was just awful. If It wasn’t for my brother, I wouldn’t have given them my money. I took videos. It was not pretty.

All signs and their Google page say they open at 10 but they don’t open until 11 and the employees are very rude if you dare to ask what time they open.

With four staff working it took them 5 minutes to acknowledge the customers waiting in line. I was at the head of the line at the register and there was a line backing up behind me. When I asked if anyone was going to service us they all ignored my question and continued what they were doing. A simple we will be right with you, would have sufficed
