I pick up deliveries from there. Personally I'm not a fan of pit beef but apparently people love it. The place is immaculate

It's Chaps, nothing more to say. It's just the best pit beef in the area. The location in Aberdeen is so nice, great employees, always courteous and quick.

The cashier lacks a sense of decorum and professionalism. She must know how to turn it on and off because I cannot understand how she got this job. The cashier brings the whole experience down. I came with a group of 3 friends, in a great mood and ready to eat but the cashier’s attitude soured the first impression and quite frankly we wanted to ask for a refund and leave but didn’t want to make a scene. Why do people apply for jobs that they clearly do not want to do? I wondered why this specific Chaps was so empty on a Friday night and now I know why. Never come back

Love Chaps! But the one in Glen Burnie lately are extremely slow (even with an empty place). And their fries are always overcooked... not much potato inside the frie, all dried up.

If you're craving amazing BBQ with a creative twist, this spot is a must-visit! I tried "The Plymouth," and it was absolutely phenomenal. Packed with tender, flavorful meat, cranberry mayo, and a generous helping of stuffing, it felt like Thanksgiving in every bite. The sandwich was perfectly balanced—hearty, savory, and just a touch of sweetness from the cranberry.
I paired it with a small side of French fries and gravy, which added a comforting, almost northern British pub vibe to the meal. The fries were crisp yet soft inside, and the gravy was rich and indulgent.
Great food, and friendly service. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

I travel I-95 through MD 3-4 times a year. If I can, I make it a point to be near Chaps at lunch or dinner going down and coming back.
Vegetarian options: If you're vegan or vegetarian, this is NOT the place for you.

Great food, but the young lady working the register had no customer service skills.

We’ve been coming here for years, ordered an online order for a sandwich and my daughter’s Mac and cheese. When we got to the counter I decided to add an order large cheese fries with the cheese on the side so that they didn’t get yucky on the drive back to my store. I myself take pride in customer service when servicing the public. Chaps did not. The lady who says she’s part owner of this establishment decides to charge me for the fries and then for a giant container of cheese which I didn’t need. When I asked her about the total she said that’s how it’s supposed to be done. I said I just want the fries and then whatever amount of cheese comes on them normally on the side, I’m not picky but I shouldn’t have to pay $10 for a order of fries that should cost $6.50. I ended up cancelling the fries and pudding cup for my daughter and we will not be back. The lady says she wasn’t rude but had an attitude the entire time, not a public service friendly place. Ridiculous!

I have to say I’m disappointed, I spent almost $24 for one person & I’m leaving hungry. I got the open faced beef platter. The amount of meat on the platter was bare minimum, but tasty, it was more of a platter of fries. I also got a large green beans, it was more like an order of stewed tomatoes. This is the 2nd time in be come by in a few months. The first time was t that good either but I thought I’d try again. I won’t be coming back.

What a shame a place like this doesn’t exist in the NYC metro area. Pit beef is an underrated food and Chap’s does it right. I got a beef sandwich medium rare with a small fries. Used the House made BBQ sauce and the Carolina Tangy Gold Sauce. Both are amazing, but the Carolina Sauce is off the hook. I put it on the Pit Beef Sandwich and the fries, which definitely enhanced the eating experience. Pickles were good on the sandwich as well. Fries could use a little more seasoning, but the sauces make them delicious. I am already planning my next meal here before I leave on Sunday.
