So disappointed when I actually read the ingredients on my $12 quart of ice cream.
I grew up in dairy country and if you can’t pronounce half the names of the ingredients, it’s not really homemade creamery ice cream. Caramel color? Propylene glycol? Dextrose? Just to name a few unnecessary ingredients. This stuffs no better than dryers.
Where I come from “home made family owned ice cream” contained : milk, cream, cane sugar, egg yolks, non fat milk, and vanilla extract. And I could actually get my spoon into it unlike this paste.

The banana pudding & cow’s feet ice cream was wonderful. We truly enjoyed, & so did Maggie Mae, our Chihuahua.
