This place is totally worth the 90 minute-2 hour drive. We had no idea this was where we were headed, but grateful this is where we landed. Let me premise that we were extremely hungry, and Mamie’s menu blew us away! I’m hoping you also have left overs as they’re even good reheated the next day. My friend had the broiled seafood platter, and I had fettuccine Alfredo with broiled crab, shrimp and scallops. Of course we shared, because to be honest, eat like a real family....
Food was great. I ordered the Stuffed Orange Roughy and my husband the Delmonico smothered in Seafood. HUGE, and I mean HUGE portions. Enough to have dinner the next 3 days. They offered a free dessert as well. They're offered a wide variety of different foods. Something for EVERYONE. The ambiance took you back in time. I recommend giving it a try.
A great place. Love lunch and dinner specials. Very generous portions of delicious home cooked food. Interesting atmosphere featuring memorabilia from WW II and old Baltimore. Never enough time to absorb all. Complimentary dessert is a plus.
