The atmosphere was ok nothing to brag about and the food was ok. I had jerk chicken and it was a little dry and they put the sauce on the side. The jerk sauce was a little sweet and spicy it was ok. I think I would recommend this place.

I purchased 6 meals to take back home with me for family. They all loved to food. This place has a large variety of dishes to choose from. The food is delicious. However, I didn't meet any Trinis or Caribbean people working there tho lol.

Very clean. Good sized eat in area. They bring your food to yout table, a nice touch. Excellent food, authentic West Indian flavors. Saturday doubles are big and delicious. Will come again, its worth traveling to get here, but look for the blue building, as Goovle Maps will direct you nearly a half mile past the building

Yesterday, I finally stopped by Ray's Caribbean American Restaurant after seeing it for many years. I am not from the islands and can not speak to how close any of the recipes were. The lunch I received was the Jerk pork lunch special and the taste was spicy and delicious. The plantains added a nice sweetness to the dish; just wish those were more. The Tamarind juice was not fresh. I could not drink it and I suggest that all fountain drinks be checked daily. Great price for lunch. I will be back.

My beef patties were delicious. My curried goat didn't taste like curried goat. The curry didn't taste like Jamaican curry. The rice and peas were off. The cabbage and plantains were good. I feel like it was a waste of money.

Not fancy but the food was authentic and very good. Nice service. Clean restaurant. Try the Doubles!

The food is authentic and delicious. I especially like the Tuesday - Friday specials. The only thing I don't like is, they charge a fee for using a charge card. CC companies charge them a fee but it's illegal to charge their customers.

My name is Tony and today is May 10 and I bro the BBQ chicken platter and an Oxtail Platter that made me mad when I got home, the chicken was so dry I couldn’t eat it, and when I open the chicken the bones were very dark showing the lack of freshness, and the rice is very hard. This is unacceptable when the prices are 18-25$ a platter. Ruined my day.
