The employees here seem very friendly and polite and this review has nothing to do with them. Management here seems very lacking in almost any positive qualities. I would urge you to reconsider before going. There's a tropical smoothie nearby, perhaps that's the better choice.

I used to go to tropical, I didnt even know this place existed :D so a month back I met a smoothie king employee at home depot and he gave me a coupon n invited me over to try their smoothies. now this is my go to spot whenever I can't decide what to eat ;) sorry for the late review though and love to the team for making it worth every penny, cheers!

I travel throughout 4 states for work and SK is my go to for lunch when I am near their locations.
Today I met Tenise in Aberdeen, and she is the friendliest SK employee ive ever met. Mgt. if you read these comments, you need to promote her to manager.
She was greeting everyone as they walked in and was making small talk etc. smiling and telling the customers waiting “ you’re smoothie will be right up “ while her co-worker was walking around looking miserable and when Tenise needed her help with the register you could tell she was annoyed. Didn’t bother Tenise though, she kept on smiling.
I’d hire her as the face of my company 100/100 times if I owned my own business.
Just wanted to bring my issue to owners.thats why gave one star earlier.

Very disappointed in this location. I ordered 3 smoothie bowls 1 bee berry sting and 2 PB delights. The smoothie was watery when I got them and I literally live like 7 minutes away if that and by time I got home it was soup. There was barely any fruit on the smoothie bowls. When you are paying $12 per bowl you expect to get what you are paying for. I normally go to the Bel Air location due to where I work but I live in Aberdeen and was treating my mom and daughters to a smoothie bowl so I came to the Aberdeen location.
I am attaching pictures of the bowls so you can understand the disappointment. This is literally from store to car with no delay in-between. And I am also going to attach a picture of the one that I got from the Bel Air location so you can understand my frustration and see the quality they serve.I understand that they are 2 different stores but the integrity of the product should all be the same bc it's a brand.

I put in an online order on Saturday afternoon. After the order was placed, the website stated that it would be 22 to 27 minutes before my order was ready. Okay, fine. We waited to leave the house and didn't arrive to Smoothie King until the allotted time. The place was packed. Okay. I expected a possible delay in making the order. I asked the girl making smoothies if my order was ready for pick up. She said no. I asked when it would be made. She had no idea. Instead on making the online orders, the owner of the restaurant was just making the orders for the people that were coming in. They were unsure of when they would get to my order, even though a half hour had already passed and I had already paid for my order. I asked for a refund. The owner said she didn't know how to do a refund and she would call me back later about it. First off, how does the owner not know how to give a refund to a customer? Secondly, I didn't feel comfortable about just leaving, $40 gone, with no real proof that I would be reimbursed. Clearly the organization of the business wasn't that great. She seemed confused when I wasn't okay with just leaving with her promise of calling me back later and discussing a refund. She seemed unapologetic and said, "So what would you like me to do?" Um...make the order I already paid for 40 minutes ago.... Then when the owner said they would have the order completed in ten minutes, we returned in 15 minutes. THEY GAVE PART OF MY ORDER AWAY TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER.I know other Smoothie locations that put alerts on their website when they have a high volume of customers. This one doesn't seem to care about any inconvenience they cause their customers. It was 1 HOUR between ordering and actually receiving my order. Never going back. Such a waste of time. This establishment doesn't know what they're doing and doesn't care about how they treat customers. .
