Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Went into pickup my GF’s mobile order at 3:53 PM on 10/30/25. She ordered a food and smoothie combo. When I showed up, only the smoothie was on the pickup rack. I notified one of the employees that I was missing my food and handed her the receipt that was taped to the cup. She looked confused and then threw my receipt away. I sat and waited for 15 minutes and got no further assistant. I would ask the same employee if I was going to get my food and she looked confused and got the second employee. At that point my lunch break was almost over so I just asked for a refund. They would not give me a refund and insisted I wait for my food. I finally got my food and I didn’t even get an apology. After being handed my food, the employee didn’t say a word to me and quickly walked back behind the wall. Terrible service

Great place for a quick bite and a large smoothie selection. We had the vegetarian wraps which are consistently good.

I totally messed up and forgot to add something to my smoothie…They remade my smoothie and were so kind!

I’d say this cafe has the worst staff and non challant attitude towards customers. They stand in there on their phones looking at you like a solicitor. I ordered online for more than ten minutes, I came in-store to see that my order was not made but the automated receipt has already been printed. I had to ask them if my order was received and they had to leave their phones to come check. If you’re time conscious, just don’t bother waiting.

I want to give a big shout-out to Chante’ at the smoothie cafe in Aberdeen! I arrived at the drive-thru around 8:50pm, thinking they were open until 10 pm, but no one was at the window. I decided to drive around and noticed a young lady tidying up inside. I cautiously opened the door and asked if they were closed, and she kindly informed me that they were still open until 9 pm. I felt a bit bad for arriving so close to closing time, but Chante’ was incredibly professional and friendly. Despite the cafe being mostly cleaned up, she took the time to whip up a smoothie for my 8-year-old and me. I was so grateful because I had really been craving one! Chante’, you’re amazing! I'm a local door Dasher, and today was the last straw. Had a double order, for smoothies and food, which always looks and smells delicious, the fruit is fresh, enough so, that you can smell it when you walk in. it seems clean, bathrooms are quite clean, and other ppl must think the same, because i get a fair amount of deliveries or dashes from or there. It's always young girls usually one will be working hard, while the others are on the phone or spilling the tea. This morning the girl didn't acknowledge me for 5 min, even tho there's à chime for the door opening. Then she looked at me like I was scum for saying excuse me, and told me my deliveries were rite there like I was dumb. When I told her they're were only smoothies and no food for either order, she again acted like was speaking a foreign language that she had no time for. When I showed her my phone and the orders on it, and all the food that m missing, she said it wasn't on the computer as she pulled the deliveries up, and sucked her teeth like I insulted her and proceeded to take almost 20 min to make the food. And the only reason it was done in that time was because another employee came in and started working, like actually working... Thank her... And this wasn't the first time that the young staff acted like working was inconveniencing there time. I deal with allot of crappy service from crappy ppl but this morning was plain insulting. That being said I'm sure the ownner could pull the tape from this morning and see the whole exchange this morning.... But like I said.. The food looks and smells great, very clean, it's just a shame ppl don't have a work ethic these days. With over 8000 deliveries I've grown pretty numb to crappy service but that was just ridiculous. Another guy walked in behind me to pick up the other day that was there and was able to clean out his car while waiting for them and there "service"

I ordered a detox island green smoothie. I left for work, started drinking it and had to go back , i wanted another smoothie. the ginger was so overpowering I could not hardly drink it burned my mouth feeling. The girl wanted to charge me another 10.00 I said that should make me another smoothie with less ginger. She said that's how they make them. I was not going to pay another 10.00.
I am very displeased with this and will never go back. No longer be a fan of tropical
Smoothie cafe. I will go to smoothie king.
