This restaurant resides in what once was Pete's pool hall. I spent many hours of my misspent youth there. Acme is more of a local haunt, in a city full of tourists, legislative staff, and academy related visitors. The attire is marina casual. The beer is cold, the menu is basic, but every entree is excellent. The wings are the star and the best you will find anywhere. Lauren was working the bar where my son and I sat. She was friendly and very professional. She instinctively remembered my name, my drink, and respected my association with the environment. Acme is my most favorite restaurant in Annapolis, as it hasn't lost its local heart and doesn't try to be anymore than what it is. Pete would have approved of this transition.

This place became one of my all time favorite bars and I travel a lot. The bartender Jason, was absolutely incredible. Such a good vibe, the music was on point! Great service, I can not wait to hit this place again. #phishpham

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy your night, dance, and have fun with friends this is NOT the spot. It was super crowded, they charged $5 per person to get in, and honestly it felt like a waste of money because there wasn’t even space to walk inside. Only two people working at the bar, and one of the employees kept pushing through everyone to grab ice or whatever, being really rude on top of that.
Overall, a very disappointing experience…

The meal was satisfactory. My wings were served hot, and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her dish, finding it more aligned with her preferences than mine. However, the restrooms exhibited mold. While my expectations were tempered given the establishment's nature as a downtown bar and grill, I was surprised when my bill increased from $56 and change to $60.11 before I added a tip. If a gratuity was included, I should have been informed. I provided a $5 tip in recognition of the prompt service and hot food. The primary concern is that she enjoyed the food; however, greater clarity regarding charges would be beneficial, as I am unclear why my bill increased from $56 to $60 without my input.

Was having a good time until another patron made 4 inappropriate comments ab how I looked. Didn’t engage at all but eventually moved seats when he wouldn’t stop. Told bartender so he was aware and he said yeah that’s just Bill. Saw the bartender talk to guy and when I paid my check at the bar, the guy flipped me off. He was never removed.

Came in hungry.
Started with a cold cheesesteak ended with a fiver and an F that place.

Watched our food sit in the window like a forgotten orphan while the bartender played coy with a group of midshipmen...it must’ve been auditions for Bravo’s ā€œFlirt First, Serve Never.ā€

By the time our meals made it to the table, I needed a side of ā€œreheatā€ more than tots. It’s cute that ACME runs a social club at the bar,
but if I’m paying for hot food, I shouldn’t have to watch it age like bread on a windowsill.

By the time I got my tab, I’d aged 3 years, learned a new language, and written this review in my head.

Next time I’ll just Uber Eats from across the street and wave at my food through the damn glass.

Tip accordingly.

We’ve been coming to Acme Bar & Grill in Annapolis since 2017, usually on weekends. The wings are always on point, and that’s one of the main reasons we’ve kept coming back.

But this past Saturday was a different story. The place was busy with only one bartender, so service was slow. That’s not the worst part though. While we were there, a white ignorant girl came up to me and asked if I was an au pair — just because I’m Asian. For those who don’t know, an au pair is someone who comes from another country to live with a family and provide childcare. Her assumption was racist and offensive. On top of that, the restroom was dirty, which added to the negative experience.

We came here because Chick and Ruth's deli was closed for maintenance. Husband had Bill Dogs, came out hot, tasty, and Greek salad, came out fresh, crisp, very good. I had the GOAT sandwich and tater tots. Tots were hot and crisp. Sandwich was hot and tasty. Not the best I've had but very decent. Service was fast and friendly. We came around 1:30pm so not very busy. Took awhile for the food to arrive considering their were very few patrons but the meal was good. Lots of TVs so probably a good sports bar. Mostly bar food on menu.

Please avoid this place at all costs, my friend was touched extremely inappropriately by staff. This is genuinely not safe for women.
