Watched our food sit in the window like a forgotten orphan while the bartender played coy with a group of midshipmen...it must’ve been auditions for Bravo’s “Flirt First, Serve Never.”
By the time our meals made it to the table, I needed a side of “reheat” more than tots. It’s cute that ACME runs a social club at the bar, but if I’m paying for hot food, I shouldn’t have to watch it age like bread on a windowsill.
By the time I got my tab, I’d aged 3 years, learned a new language, and written this review in my head.
Next time I’ll just Uber Eats from across the street and wave at my food through the damn glass.

We’ve been coming to Acme Bar & Grill in Annapolis since 2017, usually on weekends. The wings are always on point, and that’s one of the main reasons we’ve kept coming back.
But this past Saturday was a different story. The place was busy with only one bartender, so service was slow. That’s not the worst part though. While we were there, a white ignorant girl came up to me and asked if I was an au pair — just because I’m Asian. For those who don’t know, an au pair is someone who comes from another country to live with a family and provide childcare. Her assumption was racist and offensive. On top of that, the restroom was dirty, which added to the negative experience.

We came here because Chick and Ruth's deli was closed for maintenance. Husband had Bill Dogs, came out hot, tasty, and Greek salad, came out fresh, crisp, very good. I had the GOAT sandwich and tater tots. Tots were hot and crisp. Sandwich was hot and tasty. Not the best I've had but very decent. Service was fast and friendly. We came around 1:30pm so not very busy. Took awhile for the food to arrive considering their were very few patrons but the meal was good. Lots of TVs so probably a good sports bar. Mostly bar food on menu.

Tipped the bartender 10 in cash I only spent 26$ on drinks the bartender turned around and added an extra 10$ tip to my card the next day. Don’t go here . I’ll be calling the better business bureau 😌 what a scam .

Terrible experience. I left a 10 dollar tip in cash and the bartender turned around and charged me another 10 dollar tip on my card DO NOT GO THERE take your money somewhere else they got 20$ off me extra when I only spent 26$ on drinks

6/15/25 its too bad that the bartender had time to wait on 2 customers and could be on her phone but couldn't ask if I needed anytime after sitting there for almost 10 minutes, when my significant came back from the restroom she finally ask but by then it was to late and we left:( I'm a bartender and I was very disappointed in her!!
The staff dont take cleanliness seriously, which is disturbing. I watched them drag the garbage into the dining room to clear a messy table, and then back behind the bar. Without washing their hands, they then handle food for other tables. They break up ice on the dirty floor mats and cut bar fruit without washing it first. That was all within 30 minutes. It’s was unsettling and I am not super particular.

A great place to meet friends for drinks and food. Went on a Saturday afternoon and the service was excellent. The bar was not busy when we arrived but started to get crowded before we left. Definitely a place I plan to visit more often.
