Second time to Acqua al 2, but not as good as first. Room was cold, and people were putting on coats. My wife's dinner didn't arrive until 5 minutes after rest of party, so three of us waited and food got cold. Steak dish overcooked, not MR by far and attempted to disguise by being buried in too much sauce. Waitstaff were kind, but a bit disorganized. Hope it was just an off night, and will give it one more chance.

As always, our meal was amazing! While we know the building is old, you must be able to regulate temperatures in a restaurant so you're guest do not have to eat with their coats on. It was freezing! the booth seats were so cold & the constant draft blowing on our backs made our experience miserable! The staff simply said we're sorry it's an old building?! Manager worthless! Shoeing no compassion or willingness to make the situation better.

Absolutely amazing experience! From the moment you walk in with a reservation, immediately greeted and seated. Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful.
Food is made with love to perfection. From the mocktails to the ricotta and spinach balls, to the ribeye and gnocchi everything was amazing and freshly prepared. Scallops were cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce as well. There wasn’t anything left on the plates, I couldn’t put my fork down the entire night.
The dessert platter and cappuccino was the perfect way to end the night. Service was impeccable from ALL the employees. Everyone is so helpful and genuinely seemed happy to be there.
The atmosphere was dim and delightful. I had such a great experience and I’m already planning on returning soon. Thank you so much for the perfect evening that was much needed. 20/10 experience

Had a wonderful dinner tonight at this fabulous Italian restaurant. We had tuna carpaccio, ricotta spinach balls, linguine with clam sauce, pasta with eggplant tomato sauce, and tiramisu. I think I would prefer the baked ricotta and spinach balls without the radicchio. Their tomato sauces are excellent. Service was fabulous. We had reservations for 5 o’clock. I definitely will eat here again and I definitely recommend this restaurant. Came back again and had a few other dishes. I had the Baratta appetizer which was absolutely delicious. I also had the Panna cotta dessert, which was excellent. I also forgot to say that the lemoncello is delicious and is made on site. We also tried the semifreddo nocciolato which was OK but not my favorite.

I brought my 21 year old family member excited for her to try the food and drinks, but because she had a vertical ID, which is completely acceptable in her state and actual major cities, she was denied a drink. The mediocre tuna tartare has a variety of ingredients not mentioned in the menu which also lacked any allergy information, and when asking our server about gluten sensitivities they gave little effort or care to clearly show in the menu an alternative. When the food was brought over to us they were swapped with who ordered what, which would have been completely fine, but when asking questions to clarify our server reacted by saying this is what you pointed and ordered to, leaving a bitter feeling before we even started the main course. The environment created was not welcoming and tainted everyones experience. I used to really enjoy this restaurant as it was one of the only decent options in the Annapolis area which lacks good cuisine compared to other cities, and am now embarrassed I even brought family here.

Food was delicious but had a 11 dollar charge to our check. When asked what that was they said it was for the prople in the back's health care. on top of a tip! WT hades?!! Why are we paying for their health care? Food was yummy but not happy to have this added to our check on top of everything else!

Hie place is wonderful. The food great and Renaldo, our waiter, could not have been more attentive. He refilled my water and wine glass before I could ask him! Very pleasant and accommodating staff and relaxed atmosphere.

We brought my wife's 93 year old father to visi Aqua al 2 after telling him our history of having first visited in Florence. He ordered the Blueberry steak at my daughter's insistence. Of course he also had to sample some pasta as well. I had the Snapper special and others ate pasta, soup, salad and cocktails. Dinner turned out extraordinary - one he will talk about for years. Meals and ambiance are always a treat! Keep it up.
