The food and service were excellent. I had the tomato soup special which had a really nice hint of red pepper. The lamb ragu was wonderfully sweet and really delicious. My wife started with the buratta which she greatly enjoyed along with the penne vodka. We finished up with the desert sampler which was perfect. The back room was quite noisy but upon request they quickly moved us to the quieter front room. Jillian was a very helpful server.
Visited the Annapolis location for an anniversary dinner after having been to the D.C. and San Diego locations before. As always, Acqua Al 2 did not disappoint. The steaks were prepared perfectly, the pasta was delicious, and both were expertly paired with our server's wine recommendation. For any special occasion, Acqua Al 2 will always be my first choice.

Everything was “good” but the experience wasn't overwhelmingly great. I would go back, but it won't be top of my list to think of. Friday night reservation for our wedding anniversary. Walked into a lively atmosphere. The ladies at the host stand stood there w/o speaking until I finally mentioned my reservation - no hello or welcome prompted when we walked in, although they were kind after. Since we were early for our reservation we asked about the bar downstairs (Harold Black). The hostess showed us down and another host seated us in a booth. The vibe and noise level were even more “lively” downstairs. The server was apathetic and underwhelming. For dinner we were seated in a booth by the bar. For a more cozy experience, I suggest requesting a booth on the opposite side of the restaurant, as I spent the evening watching the kitchen staff. I come from hotel & restaurant hospitality, so I enjoy a different vantage point as a patron. Our server was a nice guy, somewhat apathetic too. He let us enjoy the evening and didn't bother us much. The food was good. My steak was overcooked - I requested med-rare and it was almost well; and it took quite a while for another to come out; but the server kindly offered a complimentary glass of wine for the wait. All in all, Bronzino was the best, burrata app highly recommended, and cocktails were crafted very well. I enjoy a unique experience, and didn't walk away with a memorable experience for my anniversary

First time visit. Got there early so had a glass of wine at the bar. Bartender was very helpful recommending wine and food. Very pleasant dining room. Our waiter provided superb service and the food was very good!

Fantastic food and service. The waiter accidentally put in the wrong order I was deciding between a veal chop or filet trio, landed on filet but got the veal chop. But our server gave me the veal chop gratis and got me the steak trio as well. All were good, although the trio was the better of the two. Wife got seafood pasta special which was fantastic: huge plump scallops & shrimp and al dente pasta. Ambiance is nice. Highly recommend.

The only drawback is parking. You must use public parking facility blocks away. The town of Annapolis is undergoing a lot of construction so parking is limited. The food selection and quality paired with the beautiful brick round room and lovely environment and wonderful service is worth the parking issue. Besides strolling through the city of Annapolis is a treat in itself!

The restaurant is built inside and old bank’s building. Food is Great, not easy to find a place like that when it comes about food. Wine selection is huge and very detailed. If you know about wine this is the place for you Seats are comfy, server was so nice. Olive oil is 10/10. Original extravirgin Italian, no cap. Music selection is great either in the main restaurant and in the basement, where they have a bar area and a speak easy. We shared antipasti, pappardelle and a custom mix (not on the menù) of filet medallions with different sauces. Cooked at perfection the filets were great. Lamb pappardelle were also delicious. And of course the antipasti were simply so yummy. I highly recommend this place.

Visiting from VT and friends brought us here for dinner, every dish they dropped on our table was amazing. Chianti was delicious, food was authentic and atmosphere was top notch. Alice was an amazing server!! Was very funny and extremely attentive to us the entire evening. Huge props to her helper in black button down, my guy was there ready to help every step of the service.
