Anne Arundel Medical Center Garden Cafe

An older woman working at the taco salad bar today delivered a poor customer service experience. She exhibited rude and dry behavior, lacking basic professionalism. In contrast, the cooks were friendly and the cashier was excellent, but this particular employee failed to provide a satisfactory customer experience. When I requested sour cream, the woman responded as if she was unwilling or unable to accommodate the request. This was an unusual experience, I have never been denied condiments to accompany an order. The employee was highly unhelpful and gave the impression that I was an inconvenience for making the request.

It is really annoying that they've decided to remove ALL sugar drinks from everywhere (except Starbucks and a vending machine in surgery waiting room). I get it, you want to promote healthier habits. But you neglect to remember there are people, like my wife and I, who are allergic to artificial sweeteners like aspartame.

Just endured one of the worst experiences in my life at the hands of a cashier. As I waited for her to ring up my purchase of a cup of coffee, she started sniffing her nose as if she smelled something bad. I did my best to ignore her behavior. "One eighty six," she muttered at me. I handed her two dollars. She pulled my change out of the register and slammed it on the counter. Nice. My father is up there sick and I have to deal with this? I intend to track down this woman's supervisor and lodge a complaint. This review is just one step in the process of making this woman accountable for her unacceptable behavior. I've never been treated with such unbridled contempt in my life. I did nothing to warrant this treatment. I intend to get to the bottom of this matter. Perhaps the woman has substance abuse issues. Maybe I remind her of somebody who did her wrong. I don't know. All i know is that she should not be in a position where she can interact with the public, especially in a health care setting.

The Mezza Platter with hummus and tabouleh is really good.
