Came here today and had a wonderful experience. The two girls working at the outside dock bar were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

We had a wonderful experience at The Beacon in Chesapeake Harbor! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the view of the harbor was absolutely stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal.

Our server, Lilly, was fantastic! She was warm, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel right at home. Her excellent customer service really stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable.

The food was just as impressive — the turkey Reuben was delicious, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts were amazing — crispy, seasoned just right, and easily some of the best we’ve had. And the French onion soup? Absolutely fantastic — rich, savory, and comforting.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, top-notch service, and unbeatable views. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a great Annapolis locals favorite. The atmosphere is spectacular and dining with friends, lovers, or family is always a good time. I love their outside dock bar. Whether you come by land or sea, there is always plenty of parking. Prices are moderate for Annapolis, but the atmosphere makes up for everything.

Kudos to the chef! Our meals were excellent with fresh ingredients and a beautiful presentation. The staff was absolutely amazing and so kind! The music was not too loud in the restaurant, perfect for our enjoyment of the atmosphere and conversation. What a beautiful view with an incredible menu with delicious options!

We visited Beacon when there was rain in the forecast. Due to a private party inside, we were seated outside. When the rain started, the staff ABANDONED us, would not let us go inside, and the manager was extremely rude. After waiting for at least 30 minutes, we went inside to pay our tab because no-one even came out to close us out! Do NOT go here if there is rain forecasted!

I went to Beacon outside bar for the first time tonight. I met a friend there for happy hour. My first impression was good! We had an adorable, funny bartender.
A storm erupted and our cute bartender told us that her boss wanted her to come inside to stay safe, even though she would be leaving at least 15 guests sitting at the bar. We were not invited inside to ride out the storm because their inside restaurant was closed for a private room event.
The outside bar clients and myself were left under the cover of the bar for 40 minutes without any service. The group got a bit restless. One customer poured himself a draft beer and planned to pay for it, if any of the staff returned.
The ‘bar manager” came out about 45 mins after he removed his bar staff from service.
He was rude, inhospitable, insulting and honestly embarrassing. This bar manager removed his staff from danger but left 15 customers sitting at the bar. He didn’t offer to close out our bill, nor offer us a drink to wait the storm out. We were basically held hostage through the storm.
Do NOT patronize Beacon unless you want horrific treatment.

This place was amazing, it's slightly off the beaten path but a true gem.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the indoor and harbor scenery were incredible and the food was perfectly cooked and portioned.
