Wow, did this restaurant go downhill! One of our favorite places for years, tonight, March 1, 2025 was rather shocking. They no longer have the past very popular lamb bolognese, so we tried the crabcake, scallops and Cajun Alfredo. All draft beers were broken, took almost an hour to be served, everyone's meals were luke warm and they had only one waitress! (She was great though.) Lastly, the room was very cold, so cold we all welcomed getting back to our cars. This place is in desperate need of a manager.

Really liked this place , cozy , water view is stunning . Onion soup is heavenly , crab dip is good . The only negative was my crab cakes , looked nothing like pictures , too much filler and no lump crab . The service was very good .
Would like to see soup of the day , and soft music so you don’t hear what everyone in restaurant is saying . Will return .

Kudos to the Beacon team for the new dishes served last night. My husband and I ordered the scallops on a tomato polenta served with cauliflower, and the apple crumb dessert with a mint leaf on top. Our server, Ali, said that these would be updates to the menu. They were beautifully plated, delicious, and the serving sizes perfect for us.
If we hadn't been on the road all day, we would have stayed for what I think was going to be a Trivia game. Fun and great food!

An amazing restaurant with amazing service and amazing food. We just celebrated a birthday with a dinner this evening and we’re given a 5-star service!! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant with amazing people. Took care of our daughter’s food allergies. Thank you!

Nice spot for dinner with old friends. Great appetizers and cocktails. Note that the dining area is not really wheelchair friendly. You can get in the main door but there are 3 steps down to the main dining room. Our friend was able get out of his chair to sit at a high top by the bar, but many people using wheelchairs would not be able to do that.

Had a lovely dockside light dinner and cocktails with a good friend. Crab dip & steamed shrimp with onions in broth with crusty brief and cocktails was a perfect nosh to begin the weekend! And it’s just a few blocks from home so no in town traffic to navigate!

Parking: Stop at the gatehouse and let them know you are going to the Beacon. Bear to the right and look for the Beacon sign to turn left, navigate toward the dock and the lot will open up on the left just next to the restaurant and dock bar. There are either steps down on the right or a ramp on the left.

First time here. The restaurant is waterfront in a gated community but is available for the public .Great atmosphere and services are great. All we have is just an appetizer, a smokd salmon poke bowl . Everything is fresh, but just need a little bit more seasoning. .Definitely go back .

Great place to enjoy the good weather. The bartenders are friendly and accommodating. They move fast with a smile. The strawberry salad was delicious. The old bay chicken wings were quite tasty. The steamed shrimp were cooked with onions and served with a broth and a small loaf of heavenly bread. At first I was sure about this mini. Loaf but once I dipped it in the broth of the shrimp it made sense. LOL That little loaf was just tasty. Nice crust with a soft middle. I saw someone eating it with their crab dip and they did enjoy it. The smash burger was quite tasty.
This is definitely a good casual comfortable place to enjoy right on the water. The bar and tables are aligned outside so you can enjoy the harbor. This used to be Sam's on the waterfront, where we used to go for brunch inside the building The Beacon's new approach is fun and fabulous.

Stopped by for drinks and appetizers. The cocktails were creative and tasty. The food came out fast and was good. There was plenty of seating inside and out. Nice waterfront views, especially with outdoor seating. There is a bar at the outside seating. Parking can be tight during peak hours.
