I wanted to like this place but it is no longer open at this location! The pictures look great but I got there and I was told that the business was closed at that location. I gave 1 star for wasting my time driving from DC to annapolis just to find out the business is no longer open.

Quite possibly the worst sausage and egg breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The sandwich came from a warmer behind the counter which should have been a warning. The eggs was runny, and the sausage did not appear to be fully cooked.... I did not feel well after eating. The inside of the establishment was not particularly clean and the table was sticky. All in all, a memorable experience only because it was no very good.

On a recent U.S east coast road trip I arranged to meet up with friends at Annapolis where my wife and I would stop for a driving break on our way to Philadelphia. We arranged to meet for lunch at Annapolis Market House restaurant on the corner of Main and Compromise. It was a warm sunny day and we sat outside in the shady tables garden area. The menu has everything from homemade soups, seafood specialities, a grill selection of burgers and sandwiches, plus a children's menu. The staff were friendly and attentive serving our table, including taking photos for us. We enjoyed our lunch meeting up for the first time in 18 years. A lovely day and lovely location for our meeting. Recommended.

The new Lesbian bartender refused to wait on my wife and I when she saw us. Handed us menus then went back to her LBGTQ friends at the bar she was serving for free as she ignored my wife and me. There was no manager on site. When I told the bartender she was being disrespectful and I would tell the owner because we go there so much, she laughed and turned her head back to her friends. Sorry to say, we will NOT be back. I left my phone number for Joe to call me, but I guess my $ 5,000.00 a year I spend there is not worth the aggravation. Never heard back from anyone. I also wanted to tell him how many free drinks her friends were having. Maybe Joe doesn't need the money...

Yesterday my girlfriend and I decided to try the Market House restaurant in Annapolis for the first time. We were starving after a long day and couldn't wait in the long waitlist at the Choptank, so we headed over to Market House instead. Luckily, they had a table available right away. The waitress was pleasant enough, but we obviously threw her off her game when we asked to have our food orders taken before our drinks because we were so hungry. I ordered the shrimp po boy, the waitress told me that it comes with a side, I of course asked her what the options were? She said chips, fries or sweet potato fries. My girlfriend ordered the oyster po boy with the sweet potato fries and I had regular fries. I wanted to order a salad that we could share before our sandwiches, but the waitress walked away before I could complete the order. The food came quickly, and the waitress came back to the table when the food was delivered and asked if we wanted to order the salad, at that point I didn’t because I was hoping to have the salad as a starter, so I declined. When the bill arrived, I noticed that we were charged for both the fries and sweet potato fries as sides. I questioned this because the waitress had specifically said that the sandwiches came with sides, so it seemed an unnecessary charge. Her response to my inquiry was, "Yes, but you have to pay for it, it's on the menu." I didn't bother asking to see the menu again because I immediately realized she was trying to upsell and got it completely wrong. However, I didn't appreciate being manipulated and lied to over just less than ten dollars. And I wouldn't want someone else to have the same experience, which is why I'm writing this review. To add to the situation, there was also a trainee with her, and it was his first day. He was really nice, and I certainly hope he doesn't pick up on that bad habit. I probably should have asked for the manager and disputed the bill, but honestly, both the waitress and the trainee were pleasant, it wasLabor Day Sunday, and I didn't want to ruin our day dealing with it. But unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning to the Market House, our experience was tainted by the misleading information provided, and what was clearly manipulation, which is a shame because the Market House seems like a nice spot. Just be cautious when ordering and double-check your charges. Sadly, in these United States everything revolves around race, so naturally I couldn’t help but wonder if our experience would have been any different had we been two white girls.

Located in historic Annapolis and steps away from the US Naval Academy, Market House was a great find. We enjoyed our crab cake sandwich and lobster roll outdoors overlooking the boatyard. Service was good and the food came quick. Live music indoors sounded fun too.

We had lunch here after a tour of the Navy Academy. Everything was very fresh with plenty of options for those in our party not seeking seafood. My son said the Buffalo chicken sandwich was his favorite of the YEAR! The crab cakes were on point and the shrimp po’boy sando rivaled the best I’ve had down south. All in all- super casual experience with great food and a fun view of all the action in the downtown historic district.

I have had a lot of pizza in my life, but this is hands down the best slice of pizza I have ever had. Should have named it the Pizza Goat.

Best pizza around. Bar none. The crust has the perfect crunch and I love that I can get a corner or a slice. Just order a whole pie.The sauce is delicious and different that any other in town. Toppings are always fresh.Billy knows what he’s doing and it shows!
