On a recent U.S east coast road trip I arranged to meet up with friends at Annapolis where my wife and I would stop for a driving break on our way to Philadelphia. We arranged to meet for lunch at Annapolis Market House restaurant on the corner of Main and Compromise. It was a warm sunny day and we sat outside in the shady tables garden area. The menu has everything from homemade soups, seafood specialities, a grill selection of burgers and sandwiches, plus a children's menu....
Yesterday my girlfriend and I decided to try the Market House restaurant in Annapolis for the first time. We were starving after a long day and couldn't wait in the long waitlist at the Choptank, so we headed over to Market House instead. Luckily, they had a table available right away. The waitress was pleasant enough, but we obviously threw her off her game when we asked to have our food orders taken before our drinks because we were so hungry. I ordered the shrimp po boy,...
Located in historic Annapolis and steps away from the US Naval Academy, Market House was a great find. We enjoyed our crab cake sandwich and lobster roll outdoors overlooking the boatyard. Service was good and the food came quick. Live music indoors sounded fun too.
