While the ambience was great, the food was not. My meal was overcooked and over salted. It wasn't really edible. I'm not one to usually complain unless it's really bad so I attempted to eat the overcooked fish but could not eat the rice. They offered a side salad to make it right and by the time I got it, my friend was done with her meal. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a beautifully prepared brunch at Blackwall Hitch. Our waiter Drew was phenomenal, providing exceptional service. The food was both delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this establishment.
Food and service were wonderful. We were given great recommendations for apps and mains. The only drawback was that the entire restaurant was HOT. They had air conditioning but it was very very underpowered to keep the restaurant comfortable. We dined in the evening on a cloudy day with rains that began while there and the temps were still too high in the restaurant.
