Expensive. Chicken salty. Rice dry. Staff not welcoming
Absolutely incredible! The poke is the best I’ve ever had; Their eel sauce is to DIE for and they have a variety of different options to choose from. The building is beautifully decorated with various Hawaiian plants and flowers, offering a safe and comforting environment for customers to enjoy. Service is top-notch and food took a maximum of five minutes before ready. This is by far a favorite restaurant! Thanks for amazing food and service!
Beautiful place and probably the best poké I’ve had in a while! If your in the area, you need to stop by.
Great food. Excellent service. Gabriel made my Poke Bowl with lots of love. Delicious. Tae was helpful in explaining the ingredients. Both gentlemen are absolute assets to Blowfish … they take pride in their work and have customer service locked in.
Love!!!
Great atmosphere and good food! Can’t wait to come back again.
My husband recently came back from a business trip in Hawaii, and when he came home, all he could talk about was poké!
So, when we saw this restaurant in Annapolis, we knew we had to give it a try.
We were fortunate to find parking nearby, which is always a bonus in downtown Annapolis!
When we walked into the restaurant, the gentleman at the counter greeted us promptly. We had not done any research about the layout prior, so we were surprised to see it was counter service, and not a sit down restaurant. However, that was fine.
The restaurant was very clean and welcoming.
My husband ordered The Loco moco and he said it was very good. The egg was prepared perfectly, and it was a decent portion. He probably could’ve eaten a larger portion, however :-)
I ordered a poke bowl with tuna and crab salad. I topped it with sunflower seeds, edamame, and an avocado lime sauce. It was delicious! The flavors melted very well together and the portion was just right. However, next time I think I will get the larger size so I have some to take home!
We will definitely be back again because the menu has a lot of different stuff on it that we would like to try.
If you’re looking for a different kind of restaurant with something unique for this area, you should definitely check it out.
It was also very affordable.
I was in the area and wanted something local and healthy. I love poke so I found this place and got a bowl. This is the crunchiest rice I’ve ever had. I wanted some toppings but I didn’t get them because they look like they had been sitting for days. I was disappointed because the reviews made it seem like it was better.
Excellent tasty food. Enjoyed a small bowl with barbecue chicken, tofu and many toppings. Ben the owner was wonderful. I will be back.
The freshest ingredients I’ve tasted. Generous portion sizes and quality for sure.
Restaurantji Recommends
the worst chicken and rice I’ve ever had. My school severed better food. Had to throw everything away- absolutely no taste to it. Very disappointing
Really good poke, friendly folks
Everyone was friendly and helpful; the poke bowl was yummy!
We visited this restaurant during our trip to Ego Alley, as it’s located nearby. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. We tried the chicken katsu with rice and a side of mac and cheese, and found it quite disappointing, rating it 1.5 out of 5. The coffee was average. However, the interior ambiance was impressive, with plenty of aesthetically pleasing, Instagram-worthy spots. The highlight of our visit was the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and took the time to explain the entire menu in detail, which we truly appreciated.
Great vibes and food. Aiden was especially helpful with recommendations and explanations of the menu.
