We used Blue Crab Cupcakes recently for my son’s wedding. They did an amazing job! The mini cupcakes were delicious. Megan, the bridal manager, was a huge help. She was so flexible and accommodating. She met with me (and the bride’s mom via Facetime!) and was extremely patient with all our questions. She made several suggestions that we had not even thought of. Our wedding planner made a change at the last minute and Megan was very accommodating, made sure everyone was on the same page, and refunded us the difference immediately.

We use blue crab for our wedding cake and it was by far the best wedding cake I have had. (I am a wedding planner as well as a 2024 bride so I’ve had quite a few). It was beautiful, delicious, and guests were raving! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, even just to stop in for some mini cupcakes too ◡̈ Thank you so much!!! ?

I ordered a “60” milestone cake for my mom’s birthday. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! I was blown away by the detail and pretty flowers. My mom was thrilled with how it turned out it definitely made her day.

Had a nasty encounter with one of their employees in a local store wearing a Blue Crab shirt who I believe is a manager or assistant manager. She pushed past me and a couple of other people “because I’m in a hurry” and argued loudly with me (to be fair, I also engaged with her and shouldn’t have). What she didn’t know was, that after she left, one of the store employees who witnessed everything told me how shockingly rude she was and also noted she had on a work shirt. Sorry, but I’ll never step foot in this bakery again since this person works there.
Edit: I appreciate the owner’s response but the woman I encountered is actually pictured in one of the bakery’s social posts as a team member. I made sure to do my due diligence before writing this review. It was most definitely an employee. The owner does have a way of knowing if this was her employee and that’s to simply ask all of them directly as well as to reinforce her belief and trust to them — not to me — that all of her employees are kind. I am honestly tired of the rudeness and deflection of personal responsibility in this world that hides behind the pretense of warmth and innocence — until things don’t go the right way and then the meanness and the “me first” attitude comes out. So I choose to call out those who are part of this.

Beyond amazing cupcakes and treats!! Their gluten free cupcakes are SO good! My friends that visit are always so impressed with Blue Crab Cupcake desserts! Also their employees are the friendliest and kindest!! Everyone is exceptionally nice there:) always helping me to the car, etc. Our big family LOVES their cakes and we order them for every family event! The snickerdoodle mini’s are my go-to gift. They are a huge hit every time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are obsessed with Blue Crab Cupcakes! We got a cake tasting kit while we were shopping around for bakers, and they were by far the best in town. Although we wanted a simple cake, they somehow made it look like a beautiful statue that you almost didn’t want to eat because it was too pretty. I highly recommend getting the mini cupcakes for your guests too as it is way too hard to choose just 1 or 2 flavors for your wedding cake. James doesn’t even like red velvet, but theirs we ended up liking the most. Carrie & Megan were so great to work with and understood exactly what I was looking for for the cake. I seriously can’t recommend them enough. They are the only bakery I will go to now when we need a sweet treat. :)

Super friendly staff. I visited with my friend who is gluten-free. So happy to see so many GF options that are covered and packaged separately to avoid contamination. No wonder there was a line outside waiting for the store to open. Delicious cupcakes Will definitely make the trip there again!

Blue Crab Cupcakes did an awesome job on my Mother-In-Law’s 90th birthday cake. I loved that each number could be a different flavor (9 was vanilla and 0 was chocolate). I am pretty sure the cake was made the same day it was picked up - it was so fresh and was absolutely delicious. I got many compliments on it. It was so pretty, we didn’t want to cut it. I highly recommend this bakery!

We found Blue Crab Cupcakes for our wedding cake through our wedding planner and are SO glad we did! From the start, working with Megan was fantastic -- she was responsive, direct, and was able to answer all of my questions (and I had many!!). As soon as we took the first bite of our tasting tray, we knew this was the cake or us. The flavors are perfect and the cake is so bouncy and soft (but still holds its shape!!). The buttercream is so dreamy and creamy and pairs so wonderfully with the cake. We ended up choosing chocolate and vanilla cakes but it was a HARD decision since they have so many delicious options!! The cake was so beautiful and tasted as good as it looked!! I think every single guest at our wedding had rave reviews for our cake (that's like 145 people who went out of their way to compliment the cake!!). I'll be back for many more cakes/cupcakes/baked goods!!!
