Small and local favorite spot. My go to for coffee and all breakfast and lunch needs.

We tried this place for the first time and were really disappointed. They were out of steak and several other things, we had to change our orders. The kids French toast was incredibly burnt and black, had to just serve our child the middle parts. It was hard as a rock. The chicken was also black and burned and the chicken and waffle meal was overall not good. Green onions, bacon bits in greasy gravy, over a burnt waffle. English muffin for the Benny was burnt so bad I couldn’t cut through it. Every part of our meal was burnt and gross. The best part of the meal was walking out with our coffee.
Upon reading reviews it seems like the food is often burnt. Is there no way to train kitchen staff or double check food before it’s sent out? Not great.

We traveled from Harford County to support small local businesses in Maryland. Waited forever for my latte, had to request it before my food several times and it came out 30 seconds before my food. The French Toast was fantastic! The potatoes and bacon had great flavor. The scrapple was mushy and my husband said he wished he hadn't gotten it. The staff (mostly young adults) didn't pay much attention to us even though the place was fairly empty and we tipped them in advance. Left a little disappointed but I would give it another shot with some more mature staff. It would probably be a different experience if they were properly trained to provide better custpmer service.

Great little neighborhood breakfast & coffee spot. The kitchen is relatively small, so food orders can take a little time. But the food is EXCELLENT and well worth a little extra wait time.

We were very excited to try The Blue Rooster. We were in the area and reviews looked great. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. The tables were filthy and there were flies everywhere. The hot sauce bottles at the table looked like they had not been wiped off in weeks. The poached eggs on my Eggs Benedict were overcooked and had not been drained of the poaching water so there was water on the english muffins and mixing with the hollendaise sauce. I chose fruit rather than potatoes and received a condiment container with about 5 blueberries and a couple of pieces of pineapple. My husband’s breakfast burrito was passable but his side of hash brown patty came straight from the freezer. This was definitely not a $48 breakfast.

I love a good local place. The coffee is amazing and so is the food but that isn't what makes this place the best. It's the staff. They care and thats important. From the owner to the dishwasher. They care and it shows. It's a staple in the community and I enjoy going every day.

Food has not been great lately. Ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken was burned and inedible. It’s just too pricey for quality of food.
