I love a good local place. The coffee is amazing and so is the food but that isn't what makes this place the best. It's the staff. They care and thats important. From the owner to the dishwasher. They care and it shows. It's a staple in the community and I enjoy going every day.

Food has not been great lately. Ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken was burned and inedible. It’s just too pricey for quality of food.

We have been frequent users since the Blue Rooster opened. At best, it is a luncheonette. Small and kinda cute. Popular with locals. It only serves breakfast (until 4:00) and lunch. You order at a counter and food is delivered. it's no more than ten steps from the kitchen to any table. Small paper napkins and menus are not complicated with anything like multiple courses. In other words, not a place to expect tipping issues. They have added a credit card reader which suggested 18, 22 or 25% tips. The suggested tips were excessive in my view. It caught me by surprise so I clicked 18% even though I'm used to 10-15% here in the past. In addition they added a credit card fee which was completely unexpected. Net is for a breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich and two lattes was $33. I complained on my way out. The counterperson shrugged. I asked that my complaint be passed on to the owner. That person said no because it wasn't going to change. That was our last meal there which is a shame because the food is pretty good!

Cute spot with excellent breakfast/lunch, ice creams, and espresso bar. Adorable vibe but small, and tables seem in the way. I wish it had a bit more space and in summer hours, some open mic nights

Loved coming here for a quick causal breakfast. The food is great and the prices are even better! Super reasonably priced for the quality you are getting. I ordered the poached eggs with steak and hash browns. They even let you have a croissant as your choice of bread. My mom got the egg and cheese sandwich because she is vegetarian. Also they are small dog friendly! Would definitely recommend this place!

The food and coffee were good. The place is small though and there is no guarantee of getting a seat.

Great local spot full of healthy and hearty options. We feasted this morning since all the options looked so great. And the pumpkin latte was delicious on a grey morning.Tastiest Bloody Mary with some spice and the old bay on the eggs Benedict and home fries was just the best.Such a great little spot and food so good not a single filter on these photos

Avoid ordering ahead. Stood there for over 30 min waiting for an online order. 20 min in they asked what my name is. I see them starting my order in the back when they went back to ask. Took everything in me to not start laughing right there. The best part is people came in after me and ordered food and received it before me too.Just avoid ordering ahead or online, it's clearly broken.
