I've never left a review for any place before. I'm from Rhode Island so I thought I'd look for a place that I could try some crab cakes. I ordered the crab cake dinner listed on the menu at 'market price'. My bad. They were good but the price is pretty ridiculous. $49.00. I also wanted to try the crab soup. There are two different ones on the menu and the waiter suggested the 'yingyang' soup that combines the 2 different soups in one bowl. I asked if they serve it in a cup instead of bowls because the menu doesn't list a cup option. He said said they did and I ordered the cup of soup as an appetizer. My meal came out before my soup which is a bummer. Then I got the bill. The bowl of soup is $10.99. The cup of soup is apparently $9.99. Really? He couldn't have mentioned that? The crab cakes were fine. The soup was okay. So all said my meal and a cocktail came to $75 without tip. Sorry, but I take the whole experience into consideration and I just can't justify the quality, service, and price. I am generally fine with getting only two out of these three expectations but service was off and the price was high.

Tori provided exceptional service to us and the raw oysters and crab cake sandwiches were very delicious.

If you go to Annapolis, try the Crab cake, it is famous for a 50th dollar. We took a portion for two, it was enough. No reservation possible, you wait your turn when you arrive. We finally ate at the bar, it was great.I highly recommend this restaurant to discover this specialty ?

We spent this week visiting Annapolis and stopped here for a later dinner the night we drove in. The interior is very nautical and perfectly represented what we expected the Chesapeake Bay area to feel like.We tried oyster shooters for the first time, and also tried a few different oysters from their impressive local selection. My boyfriend got the crab cake dinner and enjoyed it very much. The crab cakes were a different style than what we are familiar with in WNY where they are typically more like a patty, but he was very please with the fresh lumps of broiled crabmeat. I wish I could remember the name of what I ate, it was a rockfish special with a crab and shrimp sauce, rice pilaf, and asparagus. My meal was absolutely fantastic and the fish was cooked perfectly. Our server, Sam, was very sweet. She was a great conversationalist and suggested a few things to do on the couple of days we visited Baltimore. She gave us exactly the kind of service we were hoping for after a day of traveling.

Crisanne. Can I say more? The atmosphere is exactly what you’re looking for in Annapolis and paired with the food.. all you can question is why it’s not on the water.
